Been to 172 breweries. Everyone will have at least a few good brews. Rare to have all good. Here we had a session IPA, NE IPA, Black lager, Irish stout, German lager. All were excellent!!

The live music tonight was wonderful, Nick absolutely crushed every Zack Bryan song he did! Beer was great. Everything from tasters to growlers were priced very reasonably.

Best new brewery in the Bergen County area! The owners as well as their staff are super friendly and family oriented! Their beer is also incredible! I had a small birthday party here and they did an amazing job helping me with set up and clean up as well as helping make the party so special for our guests! Thank you! Highly recommend!

Gearlock is awesome! Super clean, friendly, relaxing atmosphere. I’ve been there for a casual afternoon and most recently hosted my husbands 40th. Oktoberfest theme was the perfect fall 40th birthday! The owners are awesome and so easy to work with. The beer is delicious-I love the Pilsner! Highly recommend Gearlock for an event or just an afternoon with some friends. The outdoor space is great too and very well protected even if it’s raining out. The music is fun and there are tvs. Great customer service. 5 stars all around.

Awesome beer and even better people. We rented out Gearblock the night before our wedding to welcome out of town guests and it was beyond perfect. One of the owners, Tony, helped us plan it and worked with us to figure out the best way to go about renting the space. The beer and atmosphere are great but the people working there are just above and beyond. They are incredibly friendly and kind. They took such good care of us all night, made sure everyone was enjoying themselves and even sent us home with “his & hers” beers as a little wedding gift. Cannot thank them enough for making such a fun night for us and our guests. And the selection of beers is top notch. Absolutely recommend visiting these guys!

We really enjoyed our quick stop here at Gearbox Brewing Company. We got 4 short pulls: Harvester, One Way Trip, Axel Revolt, and Last Car On The Lot. All were excellent representations of their specific styles. Our favorite was One Way Trip, a hazy NE IPA - delicious! It was packed with flavor and just the right amount of citrus and hops. It didn't have a kick you in the butt hoppy finish, which I liked. Loved the atmosphere! I like the modern-industrial look. Great place to hang out with great staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Staff were quick and pleasant serving us. Definitely a place I'd like to hang out in.
