My husband's favorite place! He's been going here since he was a kid since he grew up in Waldwick. Today we stopped in and got some lunch, a small Italian hero with lettuce, oil, vinegar. It was SO good and completely STACKED. Great, fresh ingredients, always.

I grew up in Waldwick so I may be biased but as an Italian American I love this place. I recently moved away from Bergen County and didn't realize how good I had it. From the quality of the ingredients, freshness, value for your money there is no better Italian deli in my opinion. Their sandwiches are so good, the cold sides and salads are also very good. It's great for lunch or catering. I also love the assortment of prepared foods/soups and other products available. I for sure make it a point to stop in whenever I'm in town. 10/10 would recommend!
By far the best hero maker in this area. Food is fresh/ delicious, service is professional/ friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the generous portions they give. I get a fully loaded Italian hero every time, and every time I finish I say "that was the best sandwich I ever had".Don't think twice. Go here if you're hungry.

Very good local Italian deli with reasonable prices. The classic Italian hero with roasted red peppers is a personal favorite. Looking forward to coming back and trying other items. They offer all sorts of Italian groceries as well.

I don't know a life without Italian Riv existing. I've been coming here since as long as I can remember (~30 years?). Subs + cold cuts are always a go to, but I love the little mutz ball salad as well. You can eat it in so many different ways and it's always fresh. The best of the best!

Ordered a tray of lasagna for Christmas all cheese barely any meat. Do they think nobody would notice? I would not recommend !
