La Vie En Rose Bakery Cafe

Stopped in here for lunch but i should have read the reviews first. It seems the rudeness/ outright meanness of the staff toward customers is a regular occurence here. First we walk up to the counter politely asking if we order there and and the girl behind the counter snidely tells us it is a table service restaurant. Ok so is it free seating or is there a specific table we should use? At this point the owner steps in and shows us to a table. They ask if we need a high chair (for my 2 yr old) and we say yes please. It never comes and I am honestly too scared to ask again. The girl who took our orders seemed annoyed to be there, not to mention the offputting glares we get from the other girl working there. The food was fine. We got salads, so hard to mess that up. My son got a chocolate croissant and barely touched it.
The worst was being called disgusting and the laughing by the girls working there while I was in the bathroom. There was no one else there at this point…. If you are going to insult your customers get a soundproof door at least. Anyway, we had thought it would be a nice brunch spot to come back to with the rest of the family but definitely will not be going back. Not kid friendly, or adult friendly.

Although the place is cute, the service and food were not very good. As soon as me and my friend walked in there was a girl standing behind the counter trying to not make eye contact, so we decided to come closer and ask if we needed to be seated or we could just take a table and as soon as we started walking up she decided to pick up the phone and turned around. Maybe was the owner who stood up and asked us if we needed help and gave us a table.
Foodwise, I ordered a frittata (which I normally LOVE) and it was very disappointing. No flavor nor color was added to the dish. I do have to say that their iced latte was amazing and it’s definitely why I would give it another shot

The actual best scone I have ever had in my life. The eggs over smashed eggs was so perfect. Everything is delicious here. Pricey, but they must realize they are kind of worth it to be honest.

Cute and cozy cafe perfect for a weekend brunch! I got the black honey ham panini during their valentines brunch special, and it was delicious. The panini was crispy and the flavors and textures were balanced between the gooey cheese, crispy apples, and slightly sweet ham.

Went there Saturday on December 23, Granted they were busy getting Christmas orders ready, however we had a woman wait on us who could not possibly be more rude. It looked as though she wanted my wife and I dead. She barely made eye contact and was thoroughly annoyed we walked in. As my wife was ordering she just picked up the phone, which isn't normally an issue but never said excuse me, or wait a moment. Her attitude was bad and she wasn't listening, instead watching the other woman working there. My wife ordered a scone and got a croissant, she wasn't watching or listening to us. We wished her a Merry Christmas and to our surprise as she turned her back to us she actually wished us a Merry Christmas back barely. Perhaps there's hope.Love ? the sarcastic response ?.
