We ordered cookies for my son’s first birthday party and they were absolutely gorgeous! I wasn’t specific on one portion of our order but it was fixed quickly, excellent customer service. We will definitely return for future occasions.

I've used Mimi's Cookies as favors for several occasions: a wedding, bridal and baby showers and parties. She is extraordinarily creative and her cookies are works of art, not to mention delicious. Mimi's is easy to work with and you will be thrilled with the results!

i ordered custom cookies for my son's baptism as party favors. the cookies came out beautiful and were very tasty. i got a lot of comments as to how nice they looked. they came out exactly as i had requested. note that the cookies are pretty big and run about $6 each.definitely would recommend to anyone looking to order for an event.

Go Order from here for beautiful custom event cookies! I had tried to order here a few times having seen how gorgeous Mimi's custom cookies were and finally was able to align the stars and got a dozen for $78. (In August 21, 2021 I didn't provide sufficient notice for a 9/5/21 party and on 9/20/23 I was trying to get an order for the following Saturday but someone called out sick so they were unable to fulfill the order). I guess the third time is a charm, because on 9/22/23 i ordered and paid so I was finally was able to pick up a dozen up the morning of 10/28/23 and they came out cute! (They open at 10am Saturdays). I had asked for champagne bottles and didn't specify a color and normally wouldn't have picked pink but they worked out great. See the pics attached. The storefront is actually super cute and they have many beautiful cookies for purchase inside...I was going to get more but they were mostly $7+ each and I didn't want to break the bank as they are only good for 2 weeks so if I had extra I was afraid they would get wasted and there wasn't any in the store that would really fit my tailgate theme. The place is located in the grey concrete building (located on the corner of Harrison) and connected in the same building as the chicken wings place. Got a parking spot right in front by the apartments and was able to run inside quickly. They have a cute little casual outdoor patio set right in front which would be great for a cookie/coffee/tea date! The reason for taking off a star is because of the price as it was a little higher then I was expecting and I was expecting some sparkly bubbles around the champs like I saw these the first time...which had more of a white/gold/silver color scheme.I can only imagine the costs to have a storefront and employees so totally understandable about the pricing. I don't eat sweets but tried the cookie and it was ok but don't go by me, there are not many cookies I actually like to eat. Hope you find this review helpful!

Everyone loved the birthday cookies, we asked for White Castle ones since my husband has an obsession with the place- and they were a hit! They did such a great job and the cookies were delicious!!!

I would give Mimi's Cookies LESS than 1 star if it were an option! I gave very specific instructions for cookies I ordered for my daughter's baby shower, telling Mimi IN WRITING that the theme was "Oh Baby." However, she didn't pay enough attention to my email and followed a picture I sent her as a sample instead, which said "Oh Boy." On Tuesday at 9am (prior to the shower which was scheduled for the following Saturday) I noticed that she had invoiced me for "Oh Boy" cookies, and naturally she requires payment up front. When I called to inquire regarding the theme, I was told that they had "probably" already started personalizing them, but she would check and get back to me. At 5:30 that same day, I had to follow up again to ask and she informed me that they were nearly done. When I forwarded my original email, I was RUDELY informed that the invoice stated the "Oh Boy" theme and that this was what the sample picture included. Then on top of everything, she sent me a picture of the cookies she had made; out of the picture/options I had shown her, there were 3 different samples - an adorable striped onesie, a rattle and a rectangle with a scalloped edge. So for $6 a cookie, she selected the easiest one to make - the rectangle with the scalloped edge!!! And let me tell you, they were AWFUL; who makes cookies 5 days before an event? They tasted like cardboard! When I picked them up, she just handed me the box and said, "Oh I'm sure no one will even notice." Not one word of apology for the mix up or an offer to compensate me for anything. I just took the box and walked away... the most horrible customer service I have ever encountered!!! Thank GOD for Lotito's Deli & Bakery in Ramsey; for $3 a cookie, Estella made the most adorable and delicious cookies that looked like a baby onesie with this wonderful icing and piping... they saved the day! My advice: don't EVER use Mimi's Cookies unless you want to deal with someone who clearly doesn't care about her customers!

I contacted her for minnie mouse cookies for my daughter's birthday party. I had to repeatedly follow up to confirm and attempt to pay. Her response time is Extremely slow. She finally confirms the order officially and says she will send invoice in a few days. Well she never does. I wait and wait giving her time assuming she's busy. Finally I reach out saying I still need the invoice. She read the message and never responded. Guess she changed her mind. I waited around giving her the benefit of a doubt and ended up in a time crunch. I will now have a hard time finding someone so last minute to make them.She also blocks negative reviews from her Facebook so that should tell you something about her business.Horrible customer service.

I had a horrible experience with Mimi's Cookies. I changed my order with a full week's notice and I was still charged a portion of the cost because the cookies were "already made" but not decorated. (This is questionable to begin with because why are cookies being baked 7 days in advance?!) But I agreed to the fee since I was changing my order. Then when I went go pick up my order, I was expecting the to receive both the decorated cookies and the undecorated cookies since I did in fact pay for them. Much to my surprise, I was told that they keep the undecorated cookies to resell - I do not get to take them home. So I paid for them and then they turn around and make money on them!! How disgusting. This is a complete turn off - I feel like I was robbed. Not to mention that the cookies were baked a full week before pickup. So they're obviously not fresh. All around horrible business practices.

Best specialty bakery I have ever seen! I've ordered for special occasions twice from Mimi's and her team's level of detail, diligence and work product is incredible. Everyone who has seen the cookies she's made for me is in awe. It is worth the drive even if you are not directly in Waldwick!

Such a disappointment. I reached out weeks prior to my sons birthday and they confirmed that they could make the 2 dozen cookies but after that it was radio silence. I reached out by email several times as well as email and couldn’t get in touch with anyone to discuss the cookie order. I had no idea what they would look like, or what cookies I would even be receiving. Finally the owner got back to me and sent me an invoice with no explanation or details. I called after receiving the invoice to ask a few questions, and to no surprise I got no response. A few hours later I got an email saying my invoice had been cancelled because I didn’t pay it. Unbelievable and so unprofessional to cancel a cookie order for 2 dozen cookies 3 days before my toddler’s birthday party because I didn’t immediately pay the invoice after receiving after weeks of unanswered calls and emails. When I picked up the cookie order, one of the cookies was broken and I emailed to let her know and shocker - no answer. One of my sons friend couldn’t have a cookie at his place setting because of this. I wish I had gotten local recommendations first because everyone I’ve spoken to has said they unfortunately have also had awful experiences with Mimi cookies and the owner. Such a shame because she does nice work, but not worth the unprofessionalism.

I ordered cookies for my sister's bridal shower from Mimi's Cookies. They came out beautiful!! We ordered 2 different designs and everyone complimented us on how beautiful cookies were with her boho-themed bridal shower at a Mediterranean restaurant. Mimi and her team did a great job and we appreciated all their hard work!! My sister, the bride, was very pleased and so were we!! I've also ordered cookies for my son's Communion this past year and they came out beautiful too and cookies taste great as well!! Thanks so much Mimi to helping make our family parties so special!!
