Best around! Our family has been going here since the 60's - from Sunday tradition of rolls and pastries to birthday cakes and butter cookies. Best crumb buns around and family favorites are the 7 layer cake and chinese chocolate chips!!!

They were closed last week but when they opened Monday, I asked if I could order a Birthday Cake for the next day. The cake was fabulous, it was exactly what my brother wanted. It really was a fresh cake, a butter cream frosting that was smooth soft and not solid sugar. The decoration was spot on and I was happy my brother enjoyed his 78th birthday

We love this bakery and are regulars. Over the weekend I ordered a strawberry shortcake for a small gathering and it was delicious. So light, fluffy, and not too sweet. All our guests loved it! I’ll continue to come here for all our special desserts. The staff goes above and beyond to help their customers. A true gem in Waldwick.

Great bakery not only for desserts but for fresh bread like sour dough and various rolls! And they even slice it for you. So delicious! I love supporting local, small businesses!

I don't recall Napoleon at $13.99, just Napoleon and 2 rum balls were above my budget. Simple solution, I request subtract one rum ball - still above - then subtract both and it's $13.99. Math don't check out, I'm visibly confused front of the cashier girl with absolutely no reaction from her. I did accept only due to tiredness (also no receipt). She asked use same big box, tiredly nodded yes.

Shopping local is made tenfold more difficult and tedious who support. Price transparency or service, I should have went the next town with family with more honest service without price gouging. Shopping local isn't give an arm and leg nor a more easily replaced fitting box in retrospect.

For now, this exchange is branded in memory to fine tooth comb even a happy local as they are not pro-customer as you'd expect to competing smaller locals serving better, or even a big chain that does support better.

This is a bakery so it is take away. My father started going there when he was in that area and he took me with him. I understand it is a family run business in business for 65 years. I go to one other bakery when I am not in this area.

Everything here is top notch. It’s also the only place around that makes crumb-buns (the superior older brother of crumb-cakes).

Their recipe is absolute perfection taste-wise, though I do wish it wasn’t such a small sliver of bun… the bun and crumbs should be balanced because they are both so good!

I was brought back to my childhood as the odor of the baked goods hit me as I walked through the door!It has been SO LONG being in a independently owned bakery!The staff was very pleasant the the cookies I purchased were outstanding.I will be back again!
