Place is an absolute diamond in the rough. The food was fantastic, and extremely reasonably priced. Went with 4 friends, had almost every appetizer (which we left nothing behind). Unlike most steakhouses, this place has a more relaxed vibe (ok to wear a hoodie and be comfortable), and also delivered better steaks than I've had a white glove establishments. 1000% recommend, this type of place is not easy to find anymore and needs to be visited. Also met Kathie and Glenn (siblings), who were extremely hospitable and truly know how to show customer appreciation. Will be going back, and bringing more folks to experience with me for sure!

Great place for a steak. Very nice and friendly staff. An old home long established with the walls decorated with pictures of the family and the history it represents in the community. Highly regarded the Canadian rub!

I had a very tough day and just wanted to relax tonight...I had passed this place many times and went in for dinner...What a great decision! The New York Strip was cooked perfectly to order and the salad and baked potato, which were included with the dinner, were both delicious...The restaurant is immaculate and rustic, just as I like it...the namesake owner Kathie was so friendly and attentive as well...I will be back for sure!

Nice surprise, great place,service was fast and polite, had periogis, then a New York strip, come with salad, and french fries or baked potatoes. Steak was sizzling, taste great.i finish a great meal with a apple pie a la mode and coffe.i highly recommend it.

We had such a great experience at Kathie & Glenn's. It was our first time visiting. We were welcomed by Kathie and she was so sweet and accommodating. It immediately felt like home walking in. We ordered our drinks (which were perfect) and our amazing meal. Our waitress was fast and on point. We were excited to have found this new "hidden gem". As we walked out, Kathie told us the history of the steakhouse that she took over with her brother Glenn (Rest In Peace). So happy to have found this place, we will definitely be back!!!
I am so glad my bf and I decided to have dinner at Kathie and Glenn’s Sizzling Steaks. When we arrived, there were a few other groups in the restaurant, not crowded at all. And I happen to like the 2000s Pop music they were playing in the background. We were tended to almost immediately as they weren’t busy. We didn’t take long to try and figure out what we wanted as we knew we wanted steak! If you’re the type of person who enjoys taking 15-20 minutes having to read through a 4-page menu, this is not that place. The menu was simple and straight to the point, which we liked a lot. They focused on what they excelled at and thats exactly what we got! We both got the ribeye and it came out on a sizzling plate topped with sauteed mushrooms. It was tasty, perfectly seasoned, and mouthwateringly delicious. It was so juicy that my bf went home with some of it on his shirt. And let me tell you about the apple pie a la mode!!! Good god! It was so ridiculously good! It’s definitely a must try.Kathie and Glenn’s is only 2.5 miles away from our house and after tonight’s dinner, it just became our “Go To Steakhouse”. But with how flavorful and satisfying our meal was it would still be our “Go To” even if it was 25 miles away. We will most definitely be coming back!!

My son treated myself and the family to a steak diner. I had to pick a place and I always try to stay local. What a fantastic dinner. No frills. 4 20 oz ribeyes and a steak sandwich for $220.00. Real steak. Good steak. Love the atmosphere.
