I had Lamb shanks and my wife had Chekin soup. For desert we had apple s with Ice cream. Everything was delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no parking lot. Parked on the street.

The service was great, and the food was amazing but there was a little fly going around the food. Birthday singing is so beautiful! Very cool candle like a firework. The restaurants building looks very polish and clean. Nice tables and set up. Overall it was excellent, and great for when your hungry or for a birthday dinner.Parking: Parking is around in the street but if there is a lot of people it could be a little walk.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, not a problem.

I have had Golabki for over 50 years, but I have never seen such small Golabki in my life. The cabbage rolls are the size of my thumb and honestly, I feel like 5 cabbage rolls equals 1 standard cabbage roll.
Wonderful authentic Polish food. This place was clean and attractive. Our server, Sebastian, was the best! Knowledgeable about the menu and very social. The mushroom soup was outstanding as was the chicken soup. The pierogi platter was delicious... having a slightly spicy cheese pierogi. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Named for the mountains that separate Poland and Slovakia, this family-owned establishment is located on Main Avenue in Wallington. Since it’s street parking, we were able to park across the street at the public library. Upon arrival at Tatra Haus as first-timers tonight for dinner, my partner and I were greeted by the host/owner, Sebastian, and made our way to a busy main dining room to our table. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends, and can be easily made by calling the restaurant. The interior is designed as a Highland chalet with traditional, ornate, hand-carved wood furniture and folk art decor. The menu focuses on the regional cuisine from the south and mountains of Poland, specifically Zakopane. Written in Polish with English translations, it has some familiar items such as borsch, pierogi, potato pancakes, etc. As an appetizer, we ordered and shared the potato pancakes, accompanied by apple sauce and sour cream. For our entree, we decided on the pork cutlet with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad, as well as the trout with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Complimentary rolls started our meal. The food came out hot, tasty, and the portions were huge. There were several birthday celebrations taking place, and we got the honor to hear the staff singing “Happy Birthday” in Polish to one of the celebrants. Dressed in traditional garb, the staff were friendly and attentive to every aspect of our meal, especially our server, Paulina. The price was comparable to the area. If you are into Polish food, you'll love this place, as it’s authentic, which we can recommend.

I've come here on a few occasions for dinner and it has been phenomenal every time! The food is amazing, great atmosphere, but the service is where they shine most. After a last minute fall out with the venue for my friends bridal shower, I thought to bring our event to Tatra Haus pretty last minute and they completely saved the day. We were able to get a long table in the area near the bar so it felt extremely private and we had an extra table for a flower bar activity. The pre-fixe menu options for our event were great, and we were able to get pitchers of sangria + mimosas which worked out so well. So accommodating and amazing every step of the way - highly recommend whether it's a private event or casual dinner!

This restaurant reminds me of Europe with its authentic atmosphere, delicious food, and caring staff. The owners and employees truly value their customers, treating us like family. Despite being busy with other events, they welcomed us last minute, for which I am so grateful. The cleanliness of the restaurant is impressive, and the food is amazing !! It truly feels like i was in Poland for dinner. From the appetizers to the entrees I can not wait to go back. I would give this restaurant a 10-star rating for its incredible food, staff, everything is impeccable!! Thank you for having the best Polish Place in the US!!

I can’t say enough great things about Tatra Haus. We hosted a bridal shower here yesterday and it was perfect. Olivia was the most incredible waitress, so attentive and sweet to every guest. The whole staff was so caring and committed to making every detail of the decor and party perfect. The food was amazing. The bartender Marcin was great. Perfect experience. If you are looking for a venue, this is the place!
