I came in for the first time, had a friend mention the food was good and had reasonable prices, but I assure you this was the opposite. The service was lousy the what seemed to be owner/manager wasn’t to accommodating and gave me a half fast fix up service, didn’t even greet me or my friend and the portion size was so small, that I left hungry needing to go somewhere else to fill up. I Did not feel welcomed at all on top of all that.

You going to get a consistent meal at the Lantern. I usually will order ahead and pick up through the drive through. Today, we ate in, and can I just say the staff was amazing. Queen DD was so sweet and the gentleman whose name I forgot to ask, but assume is management of some sort, was SO KIND. Absolutely fantastic experience with them today. Thank you so much for your patience and kindness towards us! Yall made my little girl’s day with that itty bitty ice cream cone.

First time going, old school family owned spot. If you like the diners drive in/throwback jersey gems, this is your spot. The burgers and dogs were excellent (all the way style w everything).The guys working there were very nice to the kids. I’d definitely recommend it for families and will go back in the future. Prices were very reasonable for 2024.

This is a great local texas wiener/restaurant that even has ice cream. The hot dogs and all-the-way sauce is awesome, big fan of the breakfast menu and it's nice that there is a wide variety on the menu so there is always something for whatever mood you're in. The staff is also super friendly and welcoming.
