Been going there for years because it's the only game in town. It's always been expensive and service always rude, but now the quality is bad as well. I doubt the owners care, but do you think just once someone who works there could stop yapping and joking with their co-workers and take a few seconds to say "thank you". (if they ever want to get rid of disgruntled customers they just need to start saying thank you because we will all die from surprise.)

The quality of the food was below mediocre. The Proscuitto was not fresh. The chicken cutlets were bland and had zero flavor, felt like I was eating newspaper. I tried to add mayo, did nothing. As I was famished, I said "maybe the next bite will be better", but no I was wrong. I want my money back now A&G Deli of Fords! You are thieves and should be ashamed to call this food. Never again.

Slimy Slimy!!! The store's prices are already very high, and then they have the rocks to charge you a 3.5% fee when you pay by credit card!! Unbelievable. The fees the credit card banks charge the business owner is a cost of doing business - just like labor cost, overhead, insurance, etc. Stop being scum and adding on this slick fee that you don't even see until you get the credit card receipt to sign. Like all other costs, build them into your menu prices!!! I'll never shop there again. Lots of other delis in Somerset County that don't have this very scummy, fraudulent fee.

went there last night for dinner and had Lasagna for dinner it was horrible and a the salad was good but the never offered us bread with our meals so I will not be going back to this A& G

I absolutely love this deli! Been going to the A&G in Edison for years and then moved closer to this location. Food is great and the staff has always been great. My favorite sandwich is the chicken Rapini. It's insanely good. Can't believe the review is only 3 stars. Give this place a shot and make your own judgement.

Lived in town over 30 years and the whole family has been coming here for years. Spent over $100 on salads and a few sandwiches but the salads were tasteless. Very disappointed. Don't know what happened to this place - it used to be so good.

My husband found this place in Warren NJ. Everything Italian is good, fresh and tasty. From bread to sausage they have you covered.

I've been going to this Italian deli for many years. Most of the food there has been pretty good albeit the sauce needs seasoning. However the staff over the years has become the couldn't care less about standards type. Today I got a couple of the prepared items and a roast beef sandwich on which I found rag fibers after eating a quarter of it. Very concerning and disgusting. I went in and got my money back but the staff was inexperienced with dealing with issues and the attitude stunk frankly. I'll have to find better places to eat. Check your food over, always, everywhere. Apparently these places hire anyone off the street.

Nothing like walking into an Italian deli and employees are yelling to each other in Spanish. Not an Italian person in the house…? I’m definitely not sure how this place was before but I can tell you that there are way better Italian delis than this one! I asked for my cold cuts thin..I went home opened up the mortadella and I kid you not there were 8 pieces sliced to equal 3/4 lb- the fresh mozzarella was anything but fresh… and there bread isn’t any better….
