Have to say for a local shop that is a fixture for us for on the run food since they opened I am extremely disappointed by the food I just received but more so on the response from the manager after seeing the soggy bread and coated paper bag greased with oil that “it is Mikes Way and maybe I should order it lite next time”. At this point another customer spoke up to say the sandwiches were not Mikes Way and that he should not be trying to tell the customer that it is the fault of the tomatoes or the way it was ordered. I have never returned a sub especially after I got home but I wanted to course correct for others - and no they did not comp me - but the did make two new subs. It may be sometime before I return to this local eatery.
I ordered a tuna sub and I couldn’t even eat it. The bread was DROWNING in oil. I literally couldn’t even pick the sub up without it falling apart. Making a sandwich is one of the easiest tasks in the world. It should not have been that hard to make.
