Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Terrible customer service. The 2 young ladies working tonight couldn't be more miserable. Absolutely no concern for the customer. The owner should provide some customer service training for their employees. Won't be returning, which is unfortunate because of the amount of people in the area that I make recommendations to.

I went to Rita's in Warren NJ May 29 2025. There was a group of about 12 people that had just been served and they all were enjoying their treats! The 2 young ladies that were working (it was around 7 pm)were so helpful and sweet to me after serving so many people. I live in Virginia so I don't visit one except when I go there. I will certainly return!!

Fantastic service at this Rita's! Much friendlier than other nearby Rita's. Wasn't sure what what i wanted and they suggested one of their frozen coffees. My favorite is the mocha frozen coffee.

I had the pleasure of visiting this Rita’s location recently, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked up to the window the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they offered a variety of unique flavors that immediately caught my attention.
The peanut butter mudslide is my favorite menu item, but definitely will be back to try something new next time! Overall 10/10 experience and highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for dessert.

Never have I ever mixed Italian ice with custard, until now. YUM! Not only was I impressed by the product itself but the cleanliness of the establishment inside and out, and the the friendliness of the girls at the counter. Thanks again for accommodating my party of 6 near closing time :0)

it’s great that Rita’s is giving back to the community and it was such a great time for the kids to see there teachers after school hours scooping ice. Emma and Genny’s customer service was awesome and I will definitely be returning because of them!

Great service, staff was polite and friendly and completed my order in a timely manner, even made sure to double check that my order was exactly how I wanted it. Overall great experience.

What a scam...$8.09 for something called a concrete..it was the size of a small plastic drink and when you looked into the cup the entire middle was hollow.. i would ordinarily have made a fuss but the reason we went was to sipport the Mt Bethel fire dept.should have just sent them a check ....we will stick with The Polar Cub..the man who waited on us looks like he needs a new job..stay away from here..

I don't usually write reviews, but after what happened today, I felt compelled to share.

Jason, the guy who works here, needs to treat customers with respect. If you're frustrated, find a job you love instead. Judging customers by their skin color is unacceptable.

Jason, I hope you feel better soon. You looked really unwell.

Wow! JASON

Exceptional, yet incredibly poor service. I felt humiliated as Jason rushed through my order and charged me for an additional small ice. It was 9:23 p.m., and it seemed Jason was eager to go home, as cleaning was already underway.

Owner, please reconsider your closing times or let Jason leave early. I'm not sure if Jason is the owner, but either way, I would prefer to visit a different location next time.

I love Rita’s but they have reduced their portion size and increases the pricing to the point where it is insulting $5.50 for what amounts to a dollop of custard. Not sure we’ll be back

The person who made the ice cream for us was standing on a chair working on something before he served us. He didn’t wear any glove or wash his hands when making my ice cream. It is not sanitary. He is not experienced and the ice cream was not sitting evenly on the cone. I am afraid it is going to collapse shortly. I saw him asking an experienced coworker for help, but she didn’t like to do so even she is completely free and not working on anything. I had two ice cream on the cone like that. The experience is not pleasant. I don’t recommend anyone to come to this shop.
