Always the best food around. My Wife and I dine here a lot and it's always great. Huge size portions, great service, and great tasting food. One of our favorites restaurants.

Wonderful place to meet your date or friends. The place handles noise very well and you can hear your conversations. Food is spot on and a good happy hour choice.

I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday at Sally G's as I heard such good things about it. The evening started off well with good cocktails, bread, and appetizers. Unfortunately our entrees were tasteless. I thought my Zappa di pesce was in Campbells cream of tomato soup! Very disappointing!!

Very good service. Food was great but a bit pricy. Drinks were good but pricey. Understandably loud on a Friday night at 6:30 but not ideal for a conversational dinner if that's what you are looking for

This is our 2nd time dining at Saly G's. And it did not disappoint. We were celebrating our daughter and son-in-law's birthdays. Appetizers were excellent - Meatballs and tried the special for Honey Figs (burrata was so fresh) and Risotto balls. Main dishes - Angry Parmigiana ( I tried this at our 1st visit - and was impressed how it was presented (on a raised grill type plate) but this time around only served on a regular plate. But the chicken was delicious. The balance of meals was a steak, pork chop (special) and a pasta dish with a pear sauce and breadcrumbs - very extraordinary. The service is always top notch. All of our drinks were delicious. Our order was from wine to different hard drinks. A "must try" place to dine.

Saly Gs is always a win! Great food, great wine and great service. The steaks were amazing!

Overpriced for the food you get. Go to like summit for proper litalian food. TBH go to Di Mao in Berkeley heights, you get proper food for a great price.

our first time. excellent entrees. halibut and lobster frau diavalo were well prepared, right sized and tasty. any restaurant with table clothes is worth a try. olives and eggplant pieces for the table was a nice touch. we were unrushed despite the restaurant being busy. a little to noisy for our liking. a music combo was coming on as we were leaving . we weren't aware of this.. would have made later reservations had we known about this. espresso was so so. apple galette was short on apples and tough on pastry crust. . pricey as many restaurants are now. added credit card service charge us a disappointment since accountants have already built that into the prices

Great local Italian spot!! Very nice ambience with a lot of dining room/bar seating. Pictured here is an octopus special which was perfectly cooked with a basil pesto sauce along with the chicken Milanese (which was bigger than the dinner plate) pounded very nice and crispy and we couldn’t go wrong with the zuppa di pesce over linguine. Cocktails were delicious too with a lot of unique specialty drinks. Will definitely be back!!

Went here for my birthday. Everything was delicious. The calamari was fresh. Loved the risotto balls. And every meal we had was delicious. They also had kids options which I appreciated.
