Parking: Because I am handicapped, the parking to the restaurant was difficult. There was a walkway to traverse around the steps to get to the restaurant. The Silk Road Restaurant is completely handicapped accessible as there were no steps into or in the restaurant itself.

I was able to return to this restaurant after many years and wow it did not disappoint. The food is always consistent and true to afghan cuisine. The service is unmatched and the ambiance is cozy with traditional afghan decor. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items but the fresh bread is a great addition. I would highly recommend this restaurant and it is worth traveling for. Keep up the great work!

I had an amazing dining experience at Silk Road! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The Shir Chai was rich and flavorful. The lentil soup was hearty and comforting, while the hummus was smooth, creamy, and paired perfectly with fresh bread.
For the main course, the jumbo shrimp was cooked to perfection, and both the Shammi Kabob and Ghusfan Kabob were incredibly tender and packed with delicious flavors. Every bite was a delight!

We have been coming to Silk Road for over 12 years now! I wish we lived a little closer, as I would come more often! The food is absolutely delicious, and so fresh. We have never been disappointed with any of the dishes we order.

Service is poor. They treat white customers better. I got food poisoning from the yogurt they drop off. I've gone many times and the experience has gotten worse over time. Asked for diet coke they brought regular. We didn't have one waiter come up to us. We have to shout to get someone attention.

Beautiful place to visit for a delicious meals. Great menu with many choices specially for vegetarians. I highly recommend this place.
The steak, bread, and the soup were absolutely fantastic. However, for the 3 stars instead of five, and let this be a warning to others. The yogurt, that is already on the table, my friend put it on his rice it ended up being stale and caused him food poisoning later on in the night. We had the exact same meal but he put the yogurt on his. The service being a 2 was because we didn’t get a waiter, just one person who sat us down took our order and never checked up on us or even gave us water while other guests had waiters, we were treated unfairly compared to everyone else that was dining there.
Had dinner at this restaurant this evening. Service was incredibly slow and it was hard remaining patient while being ignored. The lentil soup is quite delicious.... The chicken dish I ordered, not so good. I'm not sure it's worth the trip here, unless someone of Afghani ethnicity wants a taste of home.
