Went for Easter dinner, was unprepared for a buffet (not told when res was made). Food was terrible, roast beef was inedible and raw, dessert was 1 inch square pieces of cake or a very small serving of ice cream, followed by an astronomical bill! Disappointment rom the get go.

Really nice Easter buffet with great service particularly from the waiters and those working at the stations, a wide variety of well prepared options, and even a visit from the Easter bunny giving out candy filled eggs to the kids. In reference to another review complaining about no potato at the carving station and the timing of food being put out, everything was precisely as described on the menu posted online when you made the reservation, including seamlessly closing off some breakfast stations and opening some dinner stations at 3 o'clock. Exceeded expectations.

My family and I went to the Stone House for the Easter Buffet. The food was good. However there were many things lacking. There was only one vegetable offered at the carving station with no potato option. The desserts were not very good and there was not a great variety. Finally, the raw bar was not available until later in the afternoon, and we were already full. All the food should have been available at 2pm.

My family went to Stone House for Easter Dinner. The buffet was picked over by our 4:30 slot and the staff seemed very tired. We waited 20 minutes to be taken to our table, another 20 for our drink order and many of the buffet options had not been refreshed for a long time. The fruit display was especially concerning, as the remaining few strawberries were mushy and the melon was warm when we arrived, and the same tired display was still up when we left, an hour and a half later. I was disappointed by the overall quality for the price point.

I was not very impressed with the Easter buffet for many reasons. Breakfast options were great. However the carving station had only one vegetable offering and no potatoes. Salad station only had Caesar and Wedge salad. The dessert options were very limited and not very good. Our reservation was 2pm Ana about 3pm, a raw bar became available with other lunch options. We were already full by then. All food options should be available for the entirety of the brunch. At $75 per person, this was definitely not worth the price.

We frequent this restaurant a lot never on a buffet on a holiday, but this will be the last time that we will go to the restaurant for an occasion. The price was expensive for what you received. The service was terrible. The servers didn't understand English. They serve the meats and cut the meats terribly, when you asked for something they didn't understand you and they said they were out of things at the beginning of the buffet. I'm contacting the owners myself.

We went because it is the “sister” restaurant to the Ryland Inn. They sat us near the musician and the buffet line. It was too noisy and my chair was bumped. We asked if we could be move and at first they said no. When I spoke to the manager the eventually moved us. We spent $260 for two people, which would have been ok - if the food was good, but it was absolutely mediocre to poor. Nothing at all like the Ryland Inn, which use to have an outstanding brunch. I would not recommend the Easter brunch.

Food was ok not great , service was terrible. There was an automatic 20% tip applied for $75 per person buffet and service was poor . I don't think I would go back for their buffet .

Not sure what's happened here. Institutional food at best. Thursday night, place was empty. Pork belly appetizer was dry and overcooked. My short rib was small and so burnt it was almost inedible. Drinks were great. I'll be back for summer outdoor patio and music but will stick with pizza or a burger. Not worth the expense.

The set back that we had that our table for two was too close to a table of six people, and one of the people from the other table was literally on top of our table. We have come here many times and have enjoyed it.

Hostess less than friendly and didn't not accommodate table request. Waiter made a few mistakes with ordered drinks and really didn't seem to care - slow as well. Food was good.

Great atmosphere and food was delicious! Loved the smoked Old Fashion, oysters and halibut! Javier was pleasant and helpful Can't wait to go back on a warm night and enjoy the outside! Loved the piano player

Don't like posting bad reviews. Sorry. I have to in this case. Not going back for entrées. Not worth it. Taste like mass produced institutional food. My short ribs were so overcooked, same with the pork belly. Dry and difficult to swallow. Drinks were great and I'll come back in the summer for the outdoor bar and a pizza maybe. Nothing more. Thursday night, place was empty. I'm sure because of the food and cost.

We went for an early dinner Sunday (5:30) so the place was pretty quiet but picked up as dinner went on. Servers are very attentive and polite. Our waiter was particularly friendly and joking with us. The hostess is welcoming and lovely. The food is delicious with a nice variety of menu selections. It's on the pricier end but comparable with other restaurants of its caliber. Very enjoyable; highly recommend.

An amazing venue, just from the pages of travel magazine with wooden interiors, huge ceiling and chandeliers. The place draws you in with an old world vibe, extremely friendly wait staff. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and so were greeted with glasses of champagne. Huge portion size, an upscale dining experience right at the heart of central Jersey. However it fell short in the flavors of the food, we ordered calamari, deviled eggs and mussels. It came out fine but nothing extraordinary that you wouldn't get at a regular restaurant. We then ordered the halibut, Mac and cheese, ceviche, charcuterie board as well as duck confit . The complimentary bread was passable. The halibut was huge but again lacking flavor. Overall the mussels as well as the ceviche were the only ones that passed the taste test. The desserts were good, the tiramisu as well as bread pudding was really good, the non alcoholic drink served called Pom mule was quite unique. The tab came out to 250$ for foot of us, and it was definitely an unique experience, I just hoped that the food would have been more flavorful and presented a bit more prettier for a fine dining experience. I would give it a 3.5 .
