I was sitting at the table and something was off. Food had NO salt.
All was bland and tasteless.

Mind you, I was there taking out one of my main employees for his birthday. We came here on the basis of good reviews, paid $500 for the dinner with tip because we didn’t want to ruin the birthday didn’t say anything about the terrible food.

I have a big phobia of bugs, and so I am just now finding this out, but my wife saw a roach cross the table while I went away to take a phone call. If I had known this I would not have paid the bill nor would I have continued to eat.

This place needs to be shut down.

We were shopping nearby and found Zaytin, so we thought of trying it out. Glad we did! The food was tasty, fresh, and nicely served with good portions. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were polite and attentive. It was a really nice experience and we’d definitely like to visit again.

Stopped in for some deserts and exceeded our wildest expectations! The 100% Pistachio cake was like a heavenly mix of gelato, ice cream, cake, and pistachio. The tiramisu was moist and perfectly balanced sweetness. We also had the tea (obviously deliciously prepared) and they were courteous enough to make it complimentary and double cup so it’s not hot while holding on our long drive back.

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing – the service, the food, the entire experience. The grilled dishes and especially the liver were outstanding, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was also incredible – warm, stylish, and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Zaytin is a local treasure! Fantastic Turkish Cuisine, great atmosphere, terrific staff, plenty of parking. A wonderful experience every time we go! BYOB is an added bonus!

First off, great ambience and staff. The Turkish black tea is a 10/10. Food is amazing every time. Chicken soup and lentil soup are both delicious. Beef liver is very tasty. The hummus and labneh complements everything so well. Lamb shank was fall off the bone. Kofte and kibbeh are seasoned perfectly. The hazelnut cake and the turkish coffee is the perfect way to end a meal.

Delicious food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Strong recommend for Watchung and Warren area.

Oh my God! Amazing food, staff, and environment! The restaurant is so classy, staff are so warm and welcoming, and salmon platter (which I had) with Turkish olive oil on top was perfect!
