Found this place via Happy Cow. The description above says to pick a vegetarian option and get it without cheese, but the menu didn’t show vegetarian options. I asked and they said they could make vegetarian options. I got vegetarian tacos and a side of beans and rice. The tacos had pickled vegetables, pico de gallo, and cilantro. The (refried) beans and rice was good but I can’t guarantee the beans didn’t have lard, since a lot of refried beans do.
Brought my Grandsons for lunch. The family proprietors and the food could not have been better. I was especially impressed by the young boy (who seemed to be learning under his Mom’s wing). He was so friendly, respectful and polite. He went out of his way to ensure things were as I needed given I was dining with 3 boys to include a yet to be 1 year old and a 2 year old. This was a great find at lunchtime when I was in the area. The food was served very quickly and it was all very good. I got the steak tacos and I used the green salsa that they put on the table. It was a great combo! I highly recommend this place!
