Wife and I came here for dinner for something different and wow what a treat !!!
I got the New England Clam Chowder hmmm it was cold out side and that was perfect hot creamy insanely good taste!
I got the Fish and Chips and wow it was the CLEANEST Fish and Chips Iv had in a LONG TIME! Fired perfectly not oily and greasy at all.
Great crunch in the breading and the fish was amazing super clean great quality white as a snowflake no gray at all and the taste was awesome. Clean come to mind when describing more then anything.
Wife got the calamari not chewy at all great flavor and really good dipping sauces and unique too not something you see everywhere it was a Mango Spicy dip and very good.
She also got the Scallops with risotto the scallops were cooked perfectly and the sauce was crazy good and very delicious.
The risotto was good a bit too much veggies mixed in for our taste but definitely NOT BAD by any means!
Crème brûlée for dessert was a perfect end to a great meal we shared it because we were already full but wanted to try it and it was delicious.
We will definitely be coming back!

Chesapeake Tavern is a warm and comfortable experience for when you decide to go out to eat. We enjoyed a quick drink at the bar while waiting on our friends to join us. Our reservation was ready to go as soon as the rest of the group arrived. The focaccia bread was was warm an crunchy and the meals were all delicious. The youngest raved about the mac & cheese, while I thoroughly enjoyed the pork chop special. If you can, asked to be served by Peyton, she was delightful, professional and her warmth brought a smile to the whole table. We finished the evening with a few laughs at the bar. Ally and Sam were a great team serving up the drinks. The whole experience was wonderful.

My husband had the scallops and risotto. The risotto tastes like it came from a box. The drinks were good and so was the service. Will I return. No

Everything was amazing. We sat outside during a cool Sept evening we were the only ones outside. They lit the fire table for us. The crab nachos for appetizer were out of this world ! The cashew scallops and the create ur own were simply amazing. The scallops on the smaller side but still great. Atmosphere was nice and the waitress was so pleasant. We will def return again many times over

Crabcakes were dry and tasteless although the sauce was good. Service was fantastic. But too expensive for that

I had a wonderful dinner here. We enjoyed the lobster boil, shrimp and grits, crème brûlée, and carrot cake. Every dish was delightful. We sat outside, and the decor was light and easy on the eyes. There was ample parking available. It's important to note that you need to call ahead for the lobster boil. The menu offers plenty of options for everyone, tempting us to come back for more.
