When we visit my daughter, we usually end up having dinner at the Washington Diner. They have large portions and nice staff. Varsilli does a great job managing the place, and the very friendly Gina did a great job waiting on us. Try the Washington Diner, you'll like it.

Loved this diner!! Super affordable and we really enjoyed the food. I appreciated how many options there were; I ordered the breakfast griddle combo and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the omelette and loved it too. Next time I’m in NJ, I will be back!

Very family friendly, staff is really nice and attentive. It's a old school style diner with mostly "comfort style food" large portions... Prices are not cheap but neither is McDonald's, so t least you get large portions ..and very family friendly

Kid-friendliness: They enjoy having kids there, staff is great even when children leave things a bit messy.
