This place is awesome. My wife and I frequent this establishment on a regular basis. The owner name is Jack and He always makes us feel welcome never a dull moment. On several occasions, I saw him go beyond the call of duty helping his customers out making them feel welcome and fixing any problems that may arise. Overall, I’m giving this establishment five stars. Keep up the good work and job well done.

We go out of our way to eat at yoshimoto! I love it so much I talked my boss into having our company Christmas party here each year! I can’t pick a favorite chef, the sushi and hibachi is out of this world.Make reservations! It gets busy on weekends and if you make a reservation you’ll get seated faster than walk ins! Totally worth the money you pay!

This place definitely isn’t Japanese. I’d honestly call it Chinese food……kind of like Panda Express. Everything was super salty, heavy on that cheap soy sauce flavor. The noodles, veggies, and fried rice all tasted the same. I had to drink a bunch of water afterward.
The only good part was the fun performance.

Just called to try and make a change to my reservation and she said call tomorrow, they are to busy, then hung up. I haven’t even got there yet and already see the customer service is not good. Will look elsewhere

Extremely disappointed and frustrated by this experience. Customers of color were repeatedly made to wait while Caucasian patrons who arrived after us were seated first, without explanation or acknowledgment. This happened more than once and felt intentional, not accidental.
What made it worse was the clear difference in how we were treated—cold, dismissive attitudes toward us, while others received friendliness and prompt service. Sitting there watching this unfold was uncomfortable and humiliating.
Dining out shouldn’t involve questioning whether you’re being treated unfairly because of your race, yet that’s exactly how this felt. I expected better and left feeling angry and disrespected. Until management addresses these obvious biases and ensures fair treatment for all customers, I can’t recommend this place—especially to people of color.
Respect should be standard. Here, it wasn’t.

My experience at this restaurant was deeply uncomfortable and disappointing—not because of the food, but because of the blatant bias in how customers were treated.
Customers of color were made to wait—without explanation—while Caucasian patrons were allowed to walk in and be seated ahead of us, despite arriving later. This didn’t happen once; it was repeated enough to feel intentional rather than accidental. Staff offered no transparency, no acknowledgment, and no effort to correct the situation.
What made it worse was the dismissive and noticeably colder attitude shown toward us compared to others. Smiles, patience, and attentiveness seemed selectively applied. Whether intentional or not, the message was clear: some customers were valued more than others.
Restaurants should be welcoming spaces for everyone. No one should feel invisible, disrespected, or sidelined based on how they look. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how this experience felt. Until management seriously addresses these patterns and holds staff accountable, I cannot recommend this place—especially to people of color who expect fair and equal treatment.
Respect isn’t optional. And at this establishment, it was clearly lacking.

We had such a wonderful experience at Yoshimoto! If you go on a weekday evening, they’re incredibly accommodating. We went on a Tuesday night, and since it wasn’t too crowded, they seated us at our own hibachi table, which made the experience feel extra relaxed and personal with no risk of meat getting mixed into the vegetarian dish.
I’m vegetarian, and my husband decided to be vegetarian for the night too — and the staff truly went above and beyond to create a fully vegetarian dining experience for us. That alone meant a lot. I’m usually hesitant to order sushi outside because places often accidentally include caviar or mix things during preparation, but Yoshimoto was extremely careful and respectful about keeping everything genuinely vegetarian. Even when we order takeout.
The people there are also incredibly kind. Our waiter was hilarious, joked with us throughout the meal, and made us feel comfortable right away. The service felt warm and genuine, not forced.
And the food — absolutely amazing. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with attention to detail.
If you’re vegetarian (or dining with one), this place does an excellent job making sure you can enjoy sushi without worry. This is one of our favorite spots to go to. & We’ll definitely be going back again!

Came here with my partner. It was his first hibachi experience, I've been many times to several different places. We LOVED IT. Server was fabulous. Hibachi chef top notch. Customer service was just fabulous. Can't wait to come here again.

Went here for a birthday party our chef that we had paid absolutely no attention to the other guest at the table didn’t do anything to make the dinner entertaining and made incredibly racist remarks to the only black person at the table. Calling him, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Jackson, and any other black man he could think of. We tried to tell the manager that we were very upset about this and he brushed it off, saying oh he calls everybody that and he’s not racist. Usually love this place but was left completely disappointed and turned off to ever come here again. Do better won’t be coming again
The best Japanese food around! The service is always great, the chefs performance while cooking at the hibachi table is top-notch. Highly recommend.
