Stopped in while driving around with Lyft and this spot stood out on the Google search. The waitress and owner was nice and knowledgeable on dishes. The burger was nice tho a little too flame broiled but the bun was nice and warm so I think it was just a one off. I'll probably come back again tho if I'm in the area :) was a nice dinner

Amazing Mid-Century Modern building, and interior touches. The staff was extremely attentive and at your elbow with refills and asking if we (party of 12) needed anything. A wonderful time visiting a NJ gem. A recommended stop if you're north of Rt 80.

food arrived late and soggy. Almost as if it were just sitting there without the server handing it to me. Not too sure how thats possible. Would recommend going to another diner that actually has standards and takes care of their customers.

I ordered from Alps Diner for my Super Bowl party, and I was absolutely blown away! For just $55, I got a generous, delicious, and high-quality meal that exceeded all expectations. Every bite was packed with amazing flavors, and the presentation was spot on.
The service was fast and professional, and despite the high demand on game night, everything arrived fresh and perfectly prepared. Alps Diner truly made my Super Bowl experience even better—I can’t recommend them enough! I’ll definitely be ordering again.
We went on a Friday night , a large group, we got burgers ( good quality meat they ask you how you want it done) , fries, churrasco steak sandwich, omelets, onion rings [they serve the real.ones) our waiter Mark (easy name to remember, same as mine) was very good, got our drink orders and our orders perfectly and even remembered who got what. The prices are very reasonable, the place and bathroom are very clean. We come several times before and Alps never disappoints.

Food and vibe were excellent; service, not so much. It wasn't that busy, so the maitre d' refilled my coffee. It took about 12 minutes for a waitress to take my order, but less than 2 for the gentleman seated in the booth next to me. Same demographic; was he a regular?

food was really good. went there to get cheesecake, finished dinner and got containers for our leftover food and immediately got handed the check. it felt like we were being rushed out, it was only 7pm. we weren’t even asked if we want anything else. never got my dessert and just left.
