This food is garbage, I tried the ropa vieja and it was stinky, rotten and disgusting. I did try to get my money back but he said that I can not have my money but I can choose a different platter. Tried the pulled pork and the same issue, meat is bitter and rotten.
I highly do not recommend this place you may get sick and waste your money.

I had the oxtail with rice and beans. The food was too salty. After two hours, the food made me sick. I got food poisoning from it.

The food was old! The beans and rice were disgusting. The tostones was hard as a rock I could of broken my teeth that's how hard they were. Very disappointed.

Punk kid didn’t acknowledge my existence after asking for a Cuban sandwich then went into the back cleaning a pot and never walked out again.

When they first opened, it was amazing. They did everything proper. The food was great now the food is like stale. It’s been sitting there for hours. The one person is new. I guess because I have gone there frequently. Didn’t understand what I was ordering from the menu, this is the penil con Tostones and I have to ask for the onions because they do not make it like the place in Montclair . The other young kid never saw him either there. Great I got 2 plantains which usually that’s not the case usually four and usually much more meat. And I always get a side of Plantains also and they put two for the side usually again it’s a lot more. And they were stale you could see the color and hard as hell. Definitely not what it used to be. I don’t know what’s going on there but it’s definitely express food.

the staff is not knowledgeable. there is never coconut rice, there is always an issue in the system. staff is not attentive. ultimately, just save your money.

TERRIBLE!!! Tried this for lunch despite being warned in the comments, I ordered the ropa vieja white rice and black beans.
The meat tasted like it was old and sour. I discarded the food which left me hungry until I got home. I went back to the food court and decided to the clerk know, he was just as nasty as the food I purchased.
Do yourself a favor and go to the main location because this one is trying to stain their name with the nasty service and food. Next call Im placing is to the board of health.

After leaving a place where the service was terrible we came to Cuban Pete’s. We were met by worker name Dom who was kind and polite. He made sure everything that was given to us fresh and made us feel welcome. Thank you Dom!

Always been a huge fan of Cuban Pete’s! I was so excited when they opened this location. The churrasco bowl is amazing!

I was so excited to order because I hadn't had Cuban Pete's in awhile. However, I was majorly disappointed.... I just received an UberEats delivery from this location and it was completely incorrect!!! And to add insult, the order also was missing two items. Never ordering from here again. I'll stick to the Montclair location from here on out.
