Happend to stumble upon this place totally by chance and it was a home run. It is located across from the train station on a one way street. They use charcoal for their cooking process. The chef recommended the chicken combo and I added an order of ribs. The cornbread and Mac and cheese for the sides. Everything was excellent and had great flavor. I was the first customer of the day, so everything was coming out hot and ready to go. I would definitely go back. Going to add this spot on the Scary Good Eats App for NJ Barbque.

My order is always take out, I really was loving their rib tips, but lately, I can say the last 3 orders rib tips weren't that good, service is really nice and fast, but concerned about their cleanliness, there are the details that catch my eyes. Their cornbread and mac&cheese is really good

The Google ratings are way off on this one. I came in at 11:45 on a Tuesday. No one was here. Probably because the guy who works front is not very personable. He tried to charge me $750 for lunch. It’s only one I started an argument, when he changed it to 15. As for the food, I had the chicken. it wasn’t cooked all the way. It was still pink inside. The macaroni and cheese was standard. It just had a neat little crusting on top. That was pretty good. The cornbread concoction was interesting and tasty. I just have no desire to ever eat it again. I don’t see how this place gets a 4.7

OH MY GOD . DAM wasn't loaded down with bbq sauce just right really good dam I tried this place when it 1st opened, tried it again today now I know why they are still open omg so so good just like down in the south I got bbq again and it was LIDRALLY better than last omg may be a little pricy but worth everydime the only thing that sucks about this place is that it's closed Mondays

We ordered take out tonight from Gary & Meg’s! The food was DELICIOUS! The chicken was juicy, Mac was amazing, cornbread was bomb! We’re so happy you’re right down the road so we can indulge any time we want. We also truly love supporting small businesses as they work tirelessly to give the community some outstanding food.

Nice mom and pop style shop with a little grunge. Amazing corn bread and mac and cheese sides. Ribs were a little dry but worth checking out. Right next to the train station which makes it a nice weekend commute from the city.

Uhmmmm.. I now have to side-eye these Google reviews because whoever said that this is good BBQ, lied. L-I-E-D!!! This is probably the worst BBQ I've had in a long time. Crumbs on mac and cheese are disgusting. To not know how to make sweet tea or lemonade is a disgrace. Ribs were in desperate need of salt. The cornbread and chicken were decent but that's about it.
