There’s a south asian worker here that does not follow instructions and does whatever he wants. Asked for no ice and he says there has to be ice. Never have this issue with any other gong cha location or any other worker at this location. It seems several people are have faced the same issue and worse with the same dude. Please replace him. We choose to drive to other gong cha locations 30 minutes away to avoid having to go to this one.

It’s Sunday 01/18, and this is an issue with the South Asian person working during the evening shift at this time (around 7:30pm). We asked for drinks with no ice, and they told us that’s not possible when we’ve been to this location multiple times before and were able to receive them as we ordered them. They also mixed in the milk foam topping that we ordered without requesting or asking whether we wanted it that way. This is the second time we’ve had this exact issue with our order with the worker.

Indian guy working is incompetent. Slow service, and doesn't follow recipe. Asked for light ice and extra boba didnt get what was asked. Told me to order on ipad even if there was no one in the store. Just terrible. Drinks were okay. Cant believe im even giving 2 stars but I do believe in second chances.

I bought two medium foam milk teas with pearls. I paid $19 at Gong Cha. I can pay for two medium milk teas from my Poké bowl spot across the street for $10.I can’t justify coming to Gong Cha and getting the same size for double the price. Not to mention they didn’t have my size cup and I felt I was robbed 😣

I was waiting for my drink I doordashed and when it arrived it didn’t have pudding in it when I ordered pudding and milk foam which it also did not have thanks for ruining my night by messing up my bev gong cha

Compared to the other bubble tea places in the area, this specific Gong Cha is very underwhelming. While the staff are kind, the drinks are very watered down and orders are wrong more often than they should be.

If you're looking for a bubble tea spot, this one is a must-visit! They have an excellent range of both hot and cold teas, with a fantastic selection of flavors. Their bubble tea is particularly noteworthy, and I appreciate the option to customize the sweetness level. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, as it's a new place that isn't overly busy, and it's impeccably clean. The staff are truly wonderful – very friendly and clearly dedicated to providing great service. Their loyalty program is another huge plus; we've already enjoyed free drinks and promotions through it! I highly recommend trying their matcha teas and definitely returning for their fruit tea varieties.

I walked in to do a pickup order and the guy was rude! He said that there was no pickup order, Maybe it was for another place down the street. I was like I literally ordered it a couple minutes ago. I'm next door at a party. I asked him if I could use my upgrade and you're like no you already placed the order. Attitude the whole time, And on the phone when a personal call the whole time.
Gongacha is typically an upscale boba tea place to me, Rockaway is amazing. This place was awful.

Great bubble tea & quality of tapioca pearls but jeez ... pleaae get this man some help, service times are sloowwwwwwww. Order at least 30 mins ahead of time.
Pretty common to come here and they’re out of pearls. Isn’t that sort of the main ingredient? This location needs to improve this drastically. Have them ready. Please. Staff is usual lethargic and not interested in being friendly or cheerful. It’s often quite slow to get an order.
I recommend the owner visit the Gong cha in Bergen county - they do such a great job in comparison.

Ordered online thru doordash and went to pick it up. We ended up waiting for 30 mins and noticed that the people who ordered in the store got theirs first. The girl who was working there today is soooo slow, does not lift her head up to see that there are a lot of people waiting. When I asked if they are still making my order she said they're making the mini pearls, well she could've said that to me the first time I inquire about my order and I would have switched it to regular pearls. She was basically saved by I guess the owner bc she's drowning and doesn't prioritize. Other than the service and lack of communication, the drink we got tasted good.
