Compared to the other bubble tea places in the area, this specific Gong Cha is very underwhelming. While the staff are kind, the drinks are very watered down and orders are wrong more often than they should be.

If you're looking for a bubble tea spot, this one is a must-visit! They have an excellent range of both hot and cold teas, with a fantastic selection of flavors. Their bubble tea is particularly noteworthy, and I appreciate the option to customize the sweetness level. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, as it's a new place that isn't overly busy, and it's impeccably clean. The staff are truly wonderful – very friendly and clearly dedicated to providing great service. Their loyalty program is another huge plus; we've already enjoyed free drinks and promotions through it! I highly recommend trying their matcha teas and definitely returning for their fruit tea varieties.

I walked in to do a pickup order and the guy was rude! He said that there was no pickup order, Maybe it was for another place down the street. I was like I literally ordered it a couple minutes ago. I'm next door at a party. I asked him if I could use my upgrade and you're like no you already placed the order. Attitude the whole time, And on the phone when a personal call the whole time.
Gongacha is typically an upscale boba tea place to me, Rockaway is amazing. This place was awful.

Pretty common to come here and they’re out of pearls. Isn’t that sort of the main ingredient? This location needs to improve this drastically. Have them ready. Please. Staff is usual lethargic and not interested in being friendly or cheerful. It’s often quite slow to get an order.
I recommend the owner visit the Gong cha in Bergen county - they do such a great job in comparison.

Ordered online thru doordash and went to pick it up. We ended up waiting for 30 mins and noticed that the people who ordered in the store got theirs first. The girl who was working there today is soooo slow, does not lift her head up to see that there are a lot of people waiting. When I asked if they are still making my order she said they're making the mini pearls, well she could've said that to me the first time I inquire about my order and I would have switched it to regular pearls. She was basically saved by I guess the owner bc she's drowning and doesn't prioritize. Other than the service and lack of communication, the drink we got tasted good.

Really disappointed by the cashier. First she ignored what I said to do not add ice and then during the remake she didn’t add that mango bubbles.

Went to the store at 6pm I saw a worker making boba. She closed the shop at 6pm even though on google and the store front says it closes at 8pm. I drove 30 minutes in traffic to gongcha for the girl to tell me she was closed. Then she proceeds to make 3 more bobas for her self. False advertisement and unprofessionalism in this store and from the worker.
Ordered light ice and received a cup half full of ice.

I love gongcha. It's sad this is the closest one to where I live because Palisades and fort Lee location never disappoint. Unfortunately this location has a weird smell to it every time I visit and it does effect the "desire" to get bubble tea because it makes you think it's probably not as sanitary as you would hope. They offer the same bubble teas as every location. Girl that was present was on her phone, and her customer service was lacking to say the least. Visit other locations if you're able.
The girl who was serving the drinks did her job bad, why? Because the drinks we ordered didn’t have ice and the flavors wasn’t the same we have ordered the past months.
