The atmosphere is dark wood pub style. The server was friendly and efficient. The entrees for all 6 of us came out quickly. I ordered the special, Queen cut ribeye steak, potatoes n vegetables. I know a Queen size steak is petite, but the steak i got resembled a slice and a half of the frozen cheese steak slices you get at the supermarket. They were SO thin, and full of stringy gristle and fat. I was with a group of women I didn't know, so I didn't want to make a fuss and send it back. I know, I really should have. My suggestion would be to not order the specials.

The SHEPHERDS PIE is NOT GOOD. The beef mixture is salty and has a taste similar to taco meat. They do not mix gravy into the beef mixture they put in on top of the mashed. A good pie is supposed to have a nice golden top. They've got it ALL wrong. Also, they are charging almost 20.00 for a portion of this. If you want a good shepherd's pie drive 2 min down to Wolfson's. There's his done the proper way and for a dinner portion you're paying 8-11 dollars based off weight. Don't waste your money at Grasshopper too.

I normally like grasshopper too and know majority of the bartenders, but I placed an order to go and I'm pretty upset with what I received after spending $120 . It's supposed to be a Bleu cheeseburger burger? Can you guess what's missing? Top bun? That's not to mention that they usually give more fries and pickles, but this is how it looks when I I opened it!!!!!!!!

I have been going here since I've been a kid. The best is knowing what's on the menu I don't like new stuff and new this and that. It's perfect to stay the same they have good food, and depending on the cook back there ? but I've never really had any issues in 20years of going..the prices haven gotten higher that's the bummer which I get when what we all spend on eggs n milk. Definitely worth stopping in and eating something.
