I’ve been shopping at the NJ Greenlife stores for as long as they’ve been open for business. I particularly love the one in Butler, but Andover is also quite nice. One thing I noticed from the beginning is the warm friendly staff and owners. I really love Mervet and her family. They always make me and my family feel,welcome. The owners and staff make the place, always helpful, with a welcoming smile, friendly and knowledgeable.
Just a side note for those who care, (because of a comment I saw here) I’ve never seen anyone in the store without a mask, and I have heard the staff ask customers to put one on if they’ve inadvertently forgot as they opened the door to go inside.
Now back to why I love Greenlife Market. I appreciate my greens and I find the organic produce there to be fresher than any other local grocery market, and that’s no small task. I’m really astonished at the selection of foods and supplements that they offer in the space they have. They even have free range/grass fed varieties of meat at reasonable prices, so if you like meat and organic veggies you don’t have to schlep to two different stores to get your food. Everything looks neat and clean, and I know that’s not so easy to pull off with such a large selection and fast turnover, ( the place is really popular.) The nutrition consultants are super helpful too.
What I really love about the place and what are its distinguishing features, are the deli, juice bar and prepared foods section. There’s always a nice variety of yummy and interesting prepared foods with a focus on healthy and natural. My favorite juice is the Alkalizer because it’s all green veggies. Their juices are healthy, (no added sugars and junk) and they are so tasty and convenient. I’m not even sure where to get a fresh juice around here besides Greenlife. It’s a welcome refreshment when I’m on the road in between places. The people at the counter are really accommodating and when I have wanted to swap spinach for cucumber it’s never been a problem.
I have found their soups to always be flavorful and satisfying and are such a great idea and healthy alternative to typical lunch fare. It’s great to have a tasty warm soup that’s fresh and healthy when I’m on the road doing errands and I appreciate that and know how fortunate I am to have this option near where I shop and travel.
This may sound funny, but foodies may understand. I enjoy going to a Greenlife, it’s a fun outing for me, unlike other places I shop at. I find their pricing to be competing and lower than other organic markets. I go there a lot, and it always feels so comfortable and welcoming when I do. My whole family loves this place.

Green Life Market is a terrific place to shop for groceries, fresh food, vitamins and more. Their prepared foods are also delicious. What I like most is their knowledge and willingness to answer questions and offer advice!

For a relatively small store this place has all that you need to eat very healthy and happy. Lots of great stuff on the shelves, and lots of great fresh made-to-order stuff too. Sometimes certain items are also fresh pre-made, which is very convenient. We ordered a beet salad today, it was excellent. Filled to the top with great stuff, and the person (I should have gotten a name) who made it was super friendly, tall, and very attractive (I'm allowed to at least say that these days, right?). Yes, such great food may not be inexpensive, but you are what you put into your body.

I drove up to this store many times when I would visit my mother in New Jersey. They have excellent Smoothies, A large selection of organic foods, produce, And a deli With prepared food and sandwiches. When Grassroots in Denville closed, this was the only other local organic health food store in the region to visit. I’m glad that they have continued their business.

Greenlife Market is my absolute favorite spot for healthy food! I’m there at least once a week, and they never disappoint. Their premade section is amazing— the Bang Bang Chicken and turkey wrap are my go-to meals.
The staff is the best, from the friendly cashiers to the super helpful manager, and the knowledgeable guy in the supplements section (wish I knew his name!). Everyone is so kind and always makes shopping here a great experience.
I also love their great sales and always stock up on snacks for my kids. If you’re looking for fresh, healthy food and great service, this is the place to go!
