Food was delicious. Server excellent. A nice experience. Fun for a group.

This Tea House is not only decorated to the hills the teas are very flavorful. The soup and quiche was fantastic. The scones are out of this world. The sandwiches and desserts were also very tasty. I left and was completely satisfied. I even took home leftovers. Michael and his staff were so friendly. The girls could not have been sweeter. I can't wait to go back!

I understand that tea is just snacks. But this was less than snacks. We spent a lot for three people (about as much as a light dinner for three at an average Bergen County restaurant) and went to get dinner afterwards because we were left so unsatisfied. The waitress forgot my son’s desert then when we reminded her she suggested that he take it to go even though we had not finished our tea. You know when you ask for a side of mayo at a diner… that was the size of the container his “peach cobbler” was in. It was a spoonful of cobbler. But that wasn’t what gave them the one star - this was - We were one of two customers in the restaurant. The other table was tasting for a baby shower and the owner and his mother both came out and had long gushing conversations with them. But never said hello to us - the only other people in the room at the very next table!!! I understand we were just a trio having tea and not a potential event. But not even to ask us if we were enjoying our experience? A quick hi??? Horrible experience. There are other tea rooms in New Jersey so I will try the experience some where else. It’s a shame, because so many of my friends thought tea would have been fun for a regular girls get together. Definitely not there.

My granddaughters & I have had tea here many times over the years. Delightful experience.

Very cozy Tea house great menu similar to a Betty’s in the UK with a wide tea menu reservations a must …only thing missing on the menu was Da Hung Pao a major Oolong.
Unfortunately it is a Parkway trip that is undesirable for us anyway.adequate parking for facility.

But if you’re in the area it’s really 👍🏼

This place exceeded my expectations it is truly a hidden gem . Laura and her son was so helpful and friendly in helping me plan the best bridal shower for my daughter. The service and the food was A+, and the whole staff was extremely attentive. If you are looking for a place to have a function or just want to have lunch with tea this is definitely the place. You will not be disappointed. Also caters to gluten intolerance, my sister was so elated to eat something that she could eat and taste so good ( as you know most gluten products taste like cardboard) High Society Tea came through for the gluten intolerance crowd 😍 . My daughter was very pleased and felt like she was the Queen as she should for her bridal shower . Thank you again High Society Tea for a lovely experience.

The tea was tasty, the scones were excellent and the atmosphere was very charming. Unfortunately, there was one waitress for 10 tables. We waited 26 minutes before we asked if she would help us. When we turned over our teacups they were disgusting. Instead of just apologizing, the waitress tried to tell me that’s the way the cup is supposed to be! The second cup was also slightly dirty (I brought it to bathroom and washed it myself).

Tonight - August 29, 2025 - my Bridgerton friends and I visited your beautiful Tea House. My friends love all things Bridgerton and Regency Era, so we dressed I our costumes and came for a fun night. Everything was way above our expectations - Large selection of teas, delicious food, desserts and decor. The wait staff was amazing and worked extremely hard as there was a full house tonight. My friends have a Bridgerton podcast, so maybe You’ll get a mention in the next taping!! Definitely will go back again!

Just finished having a lovely lunch with my husband and daughter. The food was excellent, The Atmosphere was high end and the service was friendly. Would definitely recommend going to High Societea for a special treat.

came with my two beautiful bride to be friends and my own wife. i tried calling twice with no call back and went on a whim anyway. the gentleman at the front then told us we’d have to wait two hours but! ended up squeezing us in. i was a little frustrated and bummed but my mood was completely turned around. he was wonderful!

our waitress was also wonderful.

the tea & food was delicious.

we will be back again! :-)

Beautiful High Tea!

The tea room was well-decorated with a wide menu selection, everything tasted great! The wonderful staff explained it all, accommodated for allergies, and made my friend's birthday special :)
I also liked how you could bring the experience home with tea and scone mixes on sale

I’ve been coming here for years and unfortunately it has gone way downhill. The service isn’t even close to what it used to be, portions shrunk, and I was just chased down on my way out by an employee asking me where their sugar bowl is. Also got charged extra 3% on DEBIT, not credit and tipped over 20% though it wasn’t deserved.
