This is by far my favorite ice cream spot! I discovered it in the spring and have enjoyed it all summer long. I haven’t had a single bad flavor and the workers are always willing to check if flavors are not out. Love that Wayne gained a delicious local ice cream place!

It’s a cute local spot, but I have a few critiques for the owners. I have never been to an ice cream shop that didn’t allow free samples. Limit the samples, sure, but not allowing any? I ended up getting birthday cake which I did not like. Ended up throwing it out. My daughter got cotton candy which she also did not like. Also threw it out. One free sample each would have prevented a waste of money and ice cream. Cookies were good, ice cream was mediocre, but again, was only able to try the one I ended up buying. Probably won’t be back, which is a shame because I live 5 mins away. I do hope they change their policy.

My daughter and I went to get ice cream. She wanted to try a new flavor cotton candy so I requested for her to sample a little and was told that she can’t have any sample before getting it. We ended up getting the ice cream, it was too sweet. My daughter nor we could eat it so had to throw it away.

First photo is what I asked for, same exact coloring. Second photo, is what I got. Dark pink and dark purple. The lady told me she used the exact same colors and it was the lighting. So upset because this doesn’t match my theme. I also had it in the freezer the entire time until it was cake time and the third photo is how I took it out of the box.

Had to stop by after seeing a crowd of people inside, and wondering why an ice cream shop hours are until 23:00! My partner and I decided to try uncommon flavors while visiting the area.
Lavender Chip tastes like the Korean Milkis drink with semisweet choco chips, and a subtle scent of lavender! Banana was SO GOOD, especially on a peanut chocolate waffle cone. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely revisit. I'm glad Hometown Creamery has late hours
Parking: At night- We learned the hard way DO NOT park directly underneath the giant white street lamp. The insects will SWARM all over your now shiny car. Beware.
The absolute best! With closing time coming up quick, I called to ask if they were open and say I was on my way. Not only did they promise they would wait for me, but they went the extra mile to grab my most favorite flavor, the beat smores ever, from the back. After a rough week of work and momming, the smiles, service, and amazing ice cream made everything better! Thanks Hometown Creamery!

They have really good shakes. For some reason, it’s been hard to find a place that has good shakes. These are not too thick or milky. A bit overpriced but it’s still a good tasting scoop of ice cream. I liked the Lavender, Cookie Monster but the Nutella tasted a bit burnt.

I got chocolate fudge and vanilla, and it was fantastic, creamy, flavorful and soft, scoops were really big, like a full meal.
