removed pork off menu recently due to a new owner ....Better places
Izumi Hibachi Steak House was our place to go for many many years! We would not go anywhere else for hibachi because we always had a great experience and celebrated lots of special occasions. This time however was a different experience. My husband made the reservation for my birthday which I shared with my daughter. When we arrived, they wanted to sit us down right next to the bathrooms. When I objected, the manager brought us to another table where extremely cold air was blowing from the top on our backs. When we asked again if there was another table the manager said, no. “These are your only two options,” I suggested we could wait until another table opened up but he said, NO. At this point, we were very upset and decided to leave. When leaving I told the manager that they lost long-time customers but he didn't seem to care. In fact, he said, “Okay, see ya” I've never experienced such a treatment from any restaurant manager. I found him very arrogant and unpleasant.
Lovely experience. The chef was very entertaining and friendly. We had a great time. Food was nice.

We went to eat here for our son’s first birthday and were really excited based on all the great reviews. Despite being early on a week night, the service was extremely slow despite the low traffic. When we finally received our soup and salad and started eating, I bit into a large piece of plastic in my
salad. Understandably grossed out, I approached the manager and instead of being apologetic, he immediately started making excuses for why this happened. He said that they would credit us for the cost of the salad. Disappointed with this response but not wanting to ruin our son’s birthday after waiting so long for service, we stayed for the meal. Honestly the food was just ok, likely made worse by our experience with the plastic and manager . I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I would never go here again.. had a reservation they made me wait almost 30 minutes and then stated it would be 45mins to an hr wait..no good why make a reservation. If they don't honor it.

The food is good, service is adequate. What is severely lacking is your parking lot. It is awful, cars jammed in all over the place making it hard to get around.
5:30 reservation, didn’t get seated till 6:15. If you can’t handle the weekend volume I would suggest taking less reservations.

Can you believe the WHITE hostess who was also filling in for the bartender secretively called the cops based on the drink we ordered. Apparently, she's not a professional bartender and got emotional when we ordered a specific drink, and without the managers knowledge, she texted a buddy of hers who's a cops that came and was asking questions. She specifically said, "If I called the name of that drink again, she gonna throw us out," a coworker of hers had to educate her about the different type of drink in which bartender creates and name.

Due to misunderstanding, we left and found a much nicer Hibachi 4 mins away. The ambiance, food, CUSTOMER SERVICE, and cleanliness of the place are top-tier

Called 3 days before New Year’s Eve to make a reservation for New Year’s Eve night. 7pm for 4 people. Ok good to go. Showed up at 6:55 and told “oh we didn’t have your reservation” management needs to get it together.
Horrible service. Over booked everyone on a holiday, waited over an HOUR to be seated and even longer to get a waitress. Ridiculous.

We went for a birthday dinner and had the worst service for our party of 6. We had a server come and take drink and app orders and hibachi dinner order. That's where thr service stopped. Our table did not get soup and salad served to us, no one came to ask if we needed anything else - I'd like to mention that all the other tables around is had servers that came to check on them and had soup and salad brought to them. We had to ask our chef for sauces for the meal because no one served them until after the entire meal was served, and even then only served half of our party with them before leaving. When it was time for the bill, the other tables had bills brought to their tables and we had to go up to the bar to ask for our bill. We asked for an adjustment on the bill for the fact that the soup and salad was not served at all and that no one came to actually check on anything. The server said she would pack the soup and salad for us but we asked for the bill to be adjusted as we already were done with our meal and didn't want the food anymore. The server yelled at us and said that they were really busy, and mind you no one had raised their voice tk her at all but we're asking that they take into account the lack of service we received when everyone else seemed to be getting the experience they paid for. The manager was asked about an adjustment and she also refused saying that they were so busy and that the offer to pack the soup and salad was made and that was enough. We tried to explain that we just want to make sure that others didn't experience the same lack of care but the server walked away yelling at us. We ended up paying the bill and leaving but it was the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been in the hospitality industry my whole life and would have fired any one of my staff for behaving in this defensive manner to a customer when in the wrong - needless to say, this place is absolutely not up to basic civil standards and we won't be patroning there again.

Once of the best Habachi places around. Also a great place to just get sushi. Fresh fish, veggies, and meats. Always accommodating and plenty of room even if you don't have a reservation. The atmosphere is lovely. Like a little slice of Japan. The manager Aquil was exceptionally accommodating. Warm and personal-able to say the absolute least. He even made sure we didn't leave without our jacket which we left behind. Waiters were extremely attentive and polite. Will definitely be going back.
