One star is too many. As a fan of Volino’s since they first opened I now look forward to the day they go out of business. Volino’s completely ruined my family’s Christmas Eve. We made a reservation for 10 people for 6:30 on Christmas Eve, confirmed over the phone in November, and pulled up tonight to find a pitch black restaurant. Not one car in the parking lot. No answer on the phone. We have ten hungry people on a night when every restaurant in the tri state area is booked, so thank you, we now all get to go home separately and have leftovers for dinner when this is something we’d all been looking forward to since we came to Volino’s last Christmas Eve. It’s absolutely absurd to me that this could happen, what a circus of a business. I look forward to seeing your doors shut for good now.

This was a horrible experience. Made Christmas Eve reservations for 5 people 4 weeks ago where they confirmed it. When we showed up for our Xmas eve reservation. The entire place was closed. Not one person from there had the decency to call us and let us know that they were unable to accommodate us. This left us with no dinner options for our family on Xmas Eve because everything was booked. Very Unprofessional!!! This is not how you run a business. They should stay closed! Never go here again!!!!

Showed up for my Christmas Eve dinner at 7.15 and they were closed. I was given no warning . Totally unprofessional. I wasnt the only person this happened to . I have serious doubts about ever going there again. Why take the chance

We don't know because we booked the reservation through OpenTable. We got there and the parking lot was empty. There were other cars waiting to get in and the place was dark locked up and nobody was there. They closed and didn't tell anybody so Christmas dinner with friends was ruined... Who just closes up arbitrarily like that and doesn't tell anybody.? Terrible terrible Customer service. Did not tell anybody no note nothing just black closed and locked up. Even if there was an emergency, you put it on the door or tell open table or something. Disgusting way of doing business. There were a lot of people disappointed in that parking lot looking for reservations that night along with myself.

So enjoyed this wonderful relaxed and welcoming restaurant. Food was better than the steakhouses I've dined in NYC. My wife loved her short ribs , I had a perfect ribeye. Mr. Volino is a great host. Will of course, keep coming back, next time with friends!

We were celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary. This was a Monday night. We arrived just before 6 pm and there was a table of Two who were already served. The other table had 8 people and had not been served yet. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. Our drink order was taken immediately and then a nice basket of bread. Our server was great the entire evening. We shared a large meatball as an appetizer. Our entrees were the roasted chicken and the Alaskan King Salmon. The only problem was the kitchen was very, very, very slow. Our waiter kept us updated. There was about a 45-50 wait for our entrees. This was a Monday night with only one table ahead of us. The wait was worth it because our meals were excellent. This is a small restaurant/bar. The dining room really isn't separate from the bar area. I feel this is more a bar/pub than a restaurant. My wife and I always make reservations through open table and have listed our birthdays and wedding anniversary every time we make our reservation. Tonight was the first time we weren't greeted with "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Anniversary." It's really no big thing but we were there on a Monday and there weren't a lot of people. It's a nice touch to get the greeting so that was our only disappointment of the evening.

There was no heat. We were freezing in there despite changing tables three times. Service was good but the food was average. We had to send an entree back. We've been here before and it was great but no on the visit. Very disappointed with our experience.

First time here and definitely not the last! Excellent service, steak was perfect and ambience is relaxing

Went night of comedy show. It started almost an hour late so we wanted to leave. Even after spending over $200.00 for dinner we were refused refund on charge for show and wete treated extremely rude.

Beautiful decor, food was amazing. Love my appetizer (calamari with sweet chilli sauce). My steak was cook to perfection. The house made butter is magnificent. They had a musician playing multiple brass instruments to enhance the fine dining experience. Overall great place with impeccable service, and great food. Def recommend

Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate gluten free, chef came out to ask about my dietary needs with my other allergies.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival which sets a comfortable tone.... Yanni and crew are always excellent! Great steaks, delicious sides, good wine/drinks and tasty desserts. The overall experience was outstanding! And it ended with a heartfelt “thank you.”
