Very nice dinner at Novelli!!! Atmosphere was upscale, very cozy & romantic! Our waitor was vey nice and professional! Cocktails were great, fried calamari was delicious! Risotto with filet mignon was excellent!!! They came out with an Anniversary desert plate with our cheesecake which was so nice and made our celebration extra special! Will definitely be going back soon!

Novelli's is truly an upscale Italian gem. From the moment you're seated, you feel welcomed and never rushed. The complimentary bread, olives, and parmesan cheese set the perfect start to the evening, paired with a glass of their delicious wine. The fig and brie appetizer was absolutely outstanding, and both the branzino and the Shrimp Novelli were prepared to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the night. Novelli's is not just a dinner—it's an experience. A terrific, best-ever restaurant that's perfect for a special occasion or any time you want to enjoy an exceptional meal.

Great staff, always welcoming and attentive. Love the olives, cheese and bread to nibble on with cocktails. Salmon was delicious! Octopus salad and tuna rolls were fantastic. Didn't rush us out after we finished our meals. This restaurant never disappoints.

Main room extremely noisy! I had requested the room next to the bar because it is quieter. Made the reservation a week ahead. Very disappointed as it was a celebration if several birthdays. We could barely hear each other. The management never told our server about the birthdays. The food was amazing, as was the service.

Upon arrival we were told by the rude parking attendant that we couldn’t park in their almost completely empty parking lot unless their valet parks it for us. We were told we can go park on the street or in another parking lot. Terrible customer service, food was nothing to write home about. Would not go back to this restaurant.
Top notch Italian restaurant! We moved away from NJ years ago, but when we return to see family, Novelli is always on our list of places we must go! It has been a consistently solid restaurant for over the 25 years we have been patronizing it. Mario is a fantastic server.
