I was headed to Garcias Ecuadorian restaurant in Union City, NJ but this place was closer and I really wanted an Encebollado de Pescado (this place has it).

I was excited cause it, Naños, was on my list of places to try. I was so disappointed and definitely dissatisfied with the quality of food and the non inviting atmosphere by the servers. Just very plain.

I asked for the encebollado, waited and had my taste buds savory in anticipation, but what a shame. The taste was bland, even after adding the usual amount of lime, and worst of all it was cold. At first I thought it was the top layer as would happen after adding lime, but no, it was the entire bowl 🤔

The chifles were ok, but its chifles, and I didn’t even bother with the rice. First impressions are everything and this place failed. I left, even after the waitress asking if I wanted it reheated, I said no; you get this plate correct in the first try, you don’t reheat. Sadder still, I paid my entire bill for food, even though I returned it and didn’t want to take of it as I am on the road.

Don’t recommend this place and won’t be back. Very disappointed. Try Garcias, Cipo, or Mamis Cafe for Ecuadorian food if you don’t want to be disappointed 🙏

Food 10/10, the service from a terrible lady makes you want to run away and that's even though I only went for pick up and it's not the first time, regrettable, rather a guy good service.

The food was delicious, the portions were good, the servers were attentive, and overall, everything was good. It was a good experience.
The price was in line with the dishes: corn with cheese, blackberry smoothie, patacones, tres leches, beef strips, and the Moro risotto, all very delicious. ✅

slow unmanaged service. food was too highly talked about and disappointed in the end. staff isn’t all that friendly with those who don’t speak Spanish. food came out cold. dj isn’t good at all, vibes were truly giving sleepy.

Great service, and the food is better than at other places in NY and NJ. Congrats for the team and owners. 593!!

complete disappointment, my family and I sat there after ordering for 30min. as tables that came after us got their food. when I asked the waiter he gave an excuse is in the order of ordering..I explained people who came after we ordered are getting their food first? He just Shrugged his shoulders..🤷 then he brought out 1 plate minutes later brought out another with the wrong order..at that point I couldn't take it. We stood up and left, worse service I've experienced dining. unprofessional and disrespectful.

I recommend to remember our traditional Moorish guayaco and menestra, beef steak with good flavor
