Had an absolutely incredible experience at this restaurant, all thanks to our amazing waitress, Emma! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcomed and special. She even acknowledged our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch! Her service was top-notch – attentive, friendly, and so genuine. The food was beyond spectacular, and we left feeling completely satisfied. Every detail of the evening felt warm and personal, and we can't wait to come back. Thank you so much, Emma, for making our night unforgettable! Highly recommend this place!

It takes ALOT for me to rate 5 stars and Beneci's earned it, exceeded my expectations!! I dined with family for my Brother's birthday on 2/2. The restaurants location is in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel which has a spectacular views, and offers free parking. Jorge who to my reservation over the phone was amazing. He was totally professional and patient accommodating my requests for my party of 8. Upon arrival there's Italian music playing, that played throughout the evening, which sets the tone. We were all greeted by friendly, smiling faces and everyone I encountered was very welcoming! Nicole, the main server was delightful and on point, taking all our orders. Everything was spot on and reasonably priced!!! Additional servers who were very personable, brought out tasty appetizers, phenomenal entrees, specialty drinks were absolutely delish!!! Compliments to the CHEF, meals were plated well and made to perfection!! The atmosphere is quaint but modern, and extremely clean. The entire party was satisfied and a great time was had by all!!! There's even a deck, I can'wait to return when the weather breaks, to enjoy some outdoor dining.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, as this place is in the lobby of a hotel. Families staying there were dining in.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, large open space, tables can be moved in certain sections to accommodate.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've had some great takeout experiences, but there was one occasion where the food was of such poor quality that I couldn’t eat it at all. They used to offer an excellent burger with ciabatta bread, which was a favorite of mine, but unfortunately, it’s no longer on the menu. Now, they only have the regular burger, which isn’t quite as impressive. While there are some hits, the inconsistency and menu changes have been disappointing.
Amend: They still have their original burger! It turns out the person who took our phone order earlier wasn't aware of it. Their signature burger was even better this time than the last time we ordered it. We'll definitely go back for it again. The only suggestion would be to slightly reduce the salt!

I am beyond frustrated with the service I received from Iwona during my visit. It was incredibly uncomfortable and disappointing. From the moment we sat down, it felt like she was more focused on pressuring us into leaving a tip than actually providing good service. She was constantly hovering around, making us feel like we had to tip her well, and it made the entire experience feel forced and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, Iwona completely neglected our table. She spent an absurd 30 minutes talking to a nearby table of two gentlemen, completely forgetting about us. We were left waiting, ignored, and felt completely disregarded while she chatted away with them. It’s beyond unacceptable for a server to forget about their customers, especially when we were clearly still waiting for attention.
The whole experience was a complete letdown, and I’m honestly appalled by how unprofessional and inconsiderate she was. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I will make sure to warn others about the terrible service from Iwona.

If I could give 0 stars for service, I would. Jazmine was the worst waitress I’ve ever had—rude, slow, and clearly unhappy with her job. With that kind of attitude, there are plenty of other places, like McDonald’s, that might be a better fit.
I hate to leave this review because the day before, I had dinner here, and the service and food were absolutely amazing. I hope Jazmine receives proper training or finds a job better suited to her demeanor.

Beneci’s has amazing food, good music and an easy going vibe. Pastas are fresh and quite tasty as are the pizzas and some nice apps (def try Nona’s meatballs).
But we had an amazing service. Her name was Iwona she was exceptionally attentive, conversational and very knowledgable about the food and wines. But beyond service level, she was just very cool and friendly and made us feel like family. We had some great conversations with her and she made us literally laugh out loud. It’s refreshing to have that kind of experience in NY Or NJ. Staff like that can really lift your spirits and make you feel like VIP guests. If you want a nice and attentive server that is personable, my wife and I both highly recommend you ask for her!!!

I recently stayed at the hotel where Beneci’s is located. I am a crewmember/pilot of an airline and we are often put at this hotel. Beneci’s never disappoints. The food is authentic and the service is explicit. One what comes to my memory was my recent stay where we were served by Iwona. She was attentive, and friendly. Her attention to detail was amazing. She was well knowledged about the food she served. The food was incredible as always. The management should be proud of the waiting staff and the kitchen staff. Keep up the good work.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, despite the great bolognese and the stunning view of New York. Iwona, our server, seemed more focused on flipping tables quickly than providing good service, likely because she assumed I was a bad tipper. She was inattentive, especially compared to the solo male diners nearby. My bolognese took 40 minutes to arrive, and it felt like she forgot about my order entirely. My drink took ages to come, while she rushed drinks to the table across from me. When I asked for bread, she told me I could only have it after I ordered dinner, which was frustrating. Overall, while the food and view were excellent, the service left much to be desired.

I'm from Australia. I very recently stayed at the Sheraton for 3 weeks. I ate nearly 3 meals every day for 3 weeks at Beneci's.
The food is great, the view is fabulous, the prices are very reasonable. In my experience, the most outstanding staff member is Crystal. She served me most days for breakfast and lunch for those 3 weeks. She is polite, efficient, respectful. She has a great memory for the food I like. She is genuinely very friendly and really set me at ease in no time. When my wife and daughter arrived, Crystal made them feel at home. She was very helpful with menu selection and great fun to talk with, and she has a great sense of humour. My wife , daughter and I thought very highly of her. We very much appreciate that she always went the extra mile to make our dining experiences relaxing and enjoyable. Crystal is a real asset to the restaurant. She encouraged us to come back to Benici's the next time we come to New Jersey. We hope to return next year.

Tiramisu is good except I'm personally not big on the "bite" or alcohol flavor in their Tiramisu. Service is great as well. Iwona is great server.
