Best vegan Mexican food I've ever had for sure. The enchiladas i ordered were cooked to perfection, soooo fresh and flavorful and I love the almond-based cheese and crema they use. Waiters were so friendly and funny and the decor inside is GORGEOUS! (And also you can get a view of the NYC skyline right across the river)

We dined at El Charrito in Weehawken with a group of 8 people (5 adults and 3 kids). We ordered 5 adult meals, 3 kids meals, two guacamoles, water, and one lemonade — and our bill came out to about $340, which averages around $40 per person.

Unfortunately, the portions were extremely small and not shareable at all, especially for the price. We left feeling like we paid a lot for very little food. The food quality itself was okay — I’d rate it about a 3...

The restaurant’s food and the atmosphere created is great but definitely not the Service. The lady at the counter is rude and was rude at every interactions we’ve also had in the past visit. Overall servers are good but the lady managing the place wasn’t, do better!
