The great thing about this restaurant is the location and the view of NYC. The atmosphere is pleasant, lighting is romantic and the noise level acceptable. As far as the food is concerned it is ok, but don't expect gourmet food. If you go, go for the view, not for the food.
The Prix Fixe menus was priced fairly but had poor execution. The Shrimp was over cooked and tough and part of the steak was raw. We went there for the view but there was a wedding outside right in front of us. I'd choose a different restaurant.
This restaurant has an absolutely stunning view — worth the visit just for that! On top of it, the service was outstanding, truly a 10/10 experience. By mistake we got an hour late and 15 minutes before the kitchen close, but Sebastian was really attentive and friendly. He helped us with our choices and everything was perfect, so much that we had to come back before to leave ny. Amazing experience, thanks Sebastian!

Food was excellent. Started with the oysters, then had fillet and lobster tail, and finished with the crème brûlée. Service was pleasant and attentive, but could have been a bit more personable. Overall, enjoyed the food and experience and would go back.
The service by Brandon was superb. Top notch. However, I called beforehand and there was supposed to be a menu and postcard for our birthday guest. Nothing was on the table. Someone dropped the ball! The mojito flight was excellent. Best part of the meal. Had to ask for vegetarian options. What arrived was a portion of fettuccine with a few veggies. That could have been sooo much better. When the food arrived it looked like it was arranged by a child. A filet mignon sitting on a big plate next to a splat of mashed potatoes. No frills or arrangement. Did not look it came out of the kitchen of a 4 star restaurant. The asparagus was overcooked and limp. Mud pie was a slab of ice cream. Not very appetizing. Overall would not go back for a meal, just drinks.
Great restaurant my husband and I enjoyed our anniversary their love the added surprises over all too tier
For over 30 years chart house has been our special place. The view of Manhattan in the setting sun and as the lights come up is spectacular. Nothing can beat it.
The food is very good. The service was excellent and the view is amazing. Nothing compares to the NYC skyline!!

Like most Chart House restaurants the views are amazing. The establishment is beautiful but that was all. My wife had the Salmon with crab but there was very little crab and the Salmon was way over cooked. I had the Dover sole which consisted of thin sliced fish wrapped around a crab stuffing. I liked the taste but not the presentation. The lobster bisque had very little lobster in it. At the end of the night I had to shut down the waiter who was trying to sell us time shares in their stupid discount program. Not interested and not great for maintaining the atmosphere of a romantic dinner. Overall not a great experience and would not recommend this place other than for the views and drinks.
Nick & the team made my pre-birthday dinner incredibly special. Every dish was fabulous, they chose a lovely table accommodating my special request & the service from all staff was impeccable.

The best view of downtown Manhattan and its iconic skyscrapers — absolutely breathtaking, especially with the calming Hudson River right in front of you.
Food was just as impressive: the oysters were fresh and delicious, the steak perfectly tender, and the salad and soup both flavorful and satisfying. Everything came in generous servings, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
A perfect spot for both the view and the food — truly worth visiting!

This restaurant has an amazing view of New York City. Definitely a great spot for date night. The food was good although my wife ordered the sea bass and didn't really enjoy it. The drinks were great and they have some cocktails that definitely will catch the eye. Overall would definitely recommend.

The restaurant atmosphere is amazing, food was great and the view was beautiful also the service was great 👍. The only concern is that parking should be free but there was two guys trying to get 20 dollars for the parking from my guests because I invited them and they didn't have the reservation details.
