i am so not good at writing a long review but for this occasion, i must...we come here obviously for the view and since we had friends from out of town(out of the country), decided to take them here.CH comes off as the fancy dining venue with NYC views for which many people would wouldnt mind bring friendsthe apps we ordered were pretty good esp liked the salad and the coconut shrimp. we ordered pasta(really good) some steak and prime rib(which was excellent last time there) and asked for everything medium but all 4 of them came out well done. we didnt complain as it isn't the waiter's fault. the staff werent too attentive but we just accepted it as it seemed a bit busy, even though it was a weekday dinner time..the ruining moment came when after we had paid our check and while they were cleaning off the table, the waiter spilled the plate which had hot sauce on it onto the table and onto my husband's lap. hmmmm was this intentional?? i stepped away for a bit so did not see it happen but when i got back our friends were angry, telling me what happened and at the fact that the waiter just said "sorry" and walked away...to our friends at the table, this "apology" did not seem anywhere near sincere.. more like condescending... did this happen because of our race? since some of our guests were from out of the country??my friends were so angry so on our way out, we told management( i tried not to be too much of a Karen but did say those words " may i speak to the manager")When i told her what happened, she was more apologetic..thank god the spill only went on my hubby's pants as if that happened to any of our bags, it would have been a hell of a night for everyone at the restaurant.it ruined our night after spending $500+ and also with having our other friend who was on a biz trip with his company and dining on the 2nd floor with 30+ people the same night, i think the establishment should learn to treat their foreign patrons better..i love to eat and i hate having bad experiences at restaurants but this time... it just wasnt right

Our family's favorite restaurant! The view of Manhattan during the day and at night is breathtaking! Love the drinks and appetizers for happy hour which is such a great deal. Our dinner is always delicious and wait staff is always the best! Highly recommend going to the Chart House for a special occasion or if you want to just go for a great dining experience! Can't wait to go back again!

Website incorrectly indicated a bunch menu. We were in the first seating Sunday morning at 11:30, and there no brunch menu available. Coat check wasn't open. My beef su jus was disappointing; tasted greasy and had cheese and onions on it, which I wasn't expecting. Waiter was nice but forgot to bring my beverage and didn't make eye contact enough to know when we wanted the check.

Great place with some epic views of the NYC Skyline. The food was great, however the salmon was still undercooked even when asked for well done. Visited with friends to celebrate a birthday on weekend and had a wait time of 30mins even with a reservation. The front desk associates were not as welcoming and had attitude issues.Other dishes ordered were great and beers were served chilled.Might not visit again.

I Have visited this places some many times and still Quality, presentation and price are the best features in the restaurant. The service is great and the place has an amazing view. I would recommend to reserve, so you Don’t have to wait much. There’s a bar and top floor is live music. There is enough parking spaces considering the area and also valet service. It might be a little dark if you are planning to bring your kids at night. I Would def recommend this place to family and friends.

I have been to this location on two occasions one of that being a holiday. The food is delicious mushrooms are my favorite and it did not disappoint and the presentation is appealing to the eye. They did have a prefix menu on the holiday but that was to be expected. The service was exceptional. The parking lot was packed and a bit annoying but that would not deter me from returning. Reservations is a must. The views are breathtaking.

When it comes to the perfect view, day or night, this is the place to reserve a table. I highly recommend making a reservation with a note attached; it significantly enhanced our experience, especially with one of the best views in the restaurant. The portions are perfect for sharing, ideal for large parties. Unfortunately, our server wasn't at his best, due to personal issues, but the rest of the staff excelled in compensating and accommodating our party. Special mention goes to Wanita, who not only served our table with enthusiasm but also packed up leftovers for us. She was super friendly and accommodating. Very promptly about packing up the food into to go boxes. As soon as I asked for the ETA of our desert she walked out with ours immediately.The GM, Mr. Hans Nielsen, swiftly assessed the situation and implemented the best solution. It wasn't about lowering the bill; it was about his understanding of our discomfort and reassurance of Chart House's standards. I expressed my concerns, but they don't overshadow this five-star experience. Mr. Nielsen's professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction left a lasting impression. His proactive approach ensured that our dining experience remained enjoyable despite the initial setback. This is the type of leadership every customer deserves when eating out and we are grateful.Overall, Chart House exceeded expectations with its breathtaking views, delicious food, and exceptional service.
