Unfortunately this was a very bad experience. I have been to Molos three times before and loved it. But this time they seated us in the second floor and honestly it feels like we were in a very sad ballroom. No restaurant atmosphere, no decor, no nothing! On top of that, food took more than 1 hour to arrive and service was poor. I need to be honest here. Molos is wonderful, but not yesterday.

As usual, the food was excellent but service was slow and haphazard. I had to request basics 3 times . (Napkins and utensils). We sat there looking at our food, but unable to eat . I hope that this is an aberration as I enjoy Molo's and dine there often,

First we received the wrong appetizer but the server did correct it and we eventually got the correct one. However we waited more than 1/2 hour for our main course. And the food was cool, not hot. We were very disappointed.

Molos never fails for me like I told them before , that's my second home when it comes to dinning and Steak lol. The service was amazing and the food is to die for .

This restaurant was one of our favorite for years... We haven't been here maybe more than a year, and despite the bad reviews we have decided to come here to celebrate my mom's birthday! First of all the service was absolutely the worst we have ever experienced!! First of all the server never introduced himself, no welcome, he didn't explained anything on the menu, absolutely nothing...his knowledge about the food and drinks was below 100, every question that we had he doesn't know how to answer.. My husband ask what kind of ouzo they have, he said he has to check and never came back to let him know he totally forgot..When I wanted to order wine I asked do you have Assyrtiko, he said no, and when I asked him ehat kind of greek wines you have he replied: Assyrtiko... haha , he was lost in space. My knife fall on the ground no and no came to replace it, my water glass was constantly empty, no one refilled it until I aksed- we had to ask absolutely for everything... Only our table was without a candle, even though I asked for it- I love candles.. Table was never cleaned between the courses and was with breadcrumbs. Now the food... Be prepared to pay $25+ for appetizers, and $55+ for main course and get ridiculously small portions without a side !! No bread olive oil at the beginning, if you want is $10 extra... Food was ok, nothing special. The only good thing about this restaurant is the view, nothing else, the restaurant was almost empty for Sunday lunch- that says a lot! We were so annoyed that we had to ask about every single thing, and the bed service ruined our night we did not enjoyed at all. Definitely this restaurant went downhill and we will never be back! Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, it's a total waste of money and time !!

Laura was AMAZING! 10 stars all around I cannot express the ambiance and overall beauty of this establishment. From the stunning views, fresh and cultured food menu, to the courteous staff. Molos did not disappoint and I will definitely be back!

Took my wife here for her birthday in late September. Beautiful night. The restaurant and view are spectacular. The food is superb. Our waiter did an excellent job but as the restaurant got full the service slowed down. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant for an everyday treat, date night or special occasion. Prices were reasonable.

This restaurant has impeccable views of NYC, perfect for a date night. Price is on the higher side, but the food was fantastic. But definitely paying for the location, well worth it!

The food quality and taste has definitely gone down over the years and they seem to be resting on only their ambiance and view. although the service and ambiance good, the acoustics make it almost impossible to have a conversation without yelling. Also more importantly, the food is overall bland, which isn't acceptable for the pricing. We used to love going there for fresh, delicious fish but i'm done with a restaurant when i have to result to adding salt and pepper to get any flavor. sad but true - we won't be back.
Server was doing everything to make us leave since she wanted to go home at the end of her shift. Food was over cooked. We bought a bottle of wine but no one poured it for us and it was too far for us to reach from the table.

Arrived at 7:20pm for dinner, bread for the table got there at around 8:10 along with the first round of drinks. After ordering, main course wasn't ready till 10:15 at this time I said bring me the check and if the entrees r ready place them to go. Server said why? I said sir, it's been almost 3 hours waiting that's absurd. Left a $100 tip because im not rude and hopefully they get their stuff together. However, I won't be coming back to this location. Service was terrible.

My girlfriend and I went to Molo's for a special date night and it was my best decision . The whole overall experience was fabulous the views the drinks the service the tower appetizer for 2 was outstanding , the grilled octopus, the filet migon skewers , and the Dover Sole were top shelve. Thank you for making our date night spectacular. We will be back soon .

Unless you are offended by sitting outside, perched above the Hudson River facing mid-town Manhattan, while enjoying excellent Greek food, Molo's is a great spot to consider. The service is also friendly and attentive.
