This place is so weird. I love a Chicken parm sub, used to order here all the time pre-covid. I’m a sauce girl, I always want my chicken saucy. At some point pre pandemic, the decent chicken parm sub becomes dry and mediocre bc they start putting almost zero sauce. I start putting “extra sauce pls” on my order notes. It gets worse. I stop ordering from Romano bc quality has gone down and prices up. Here we are like 6 years later and last night I’m like hey, let’s give Romano another try, maybe they’ve changed for the better! Order 2 chicken parm subs online for pickup, write “heavy on the sauce pls” in the order notes. When I tell you these subs had ZERO SAUCE. Y’all a chicken parm sub MUST have sauce. Aren’t you an Italian restaurant?! Make it make sense. I realize they likely don’t look at order notes at all, which is fine- but don’t accept notes if you aren’t even going to look at them. But NONE? some dry chicken strips and cheese on a hoagie? Nah. Go to trattoria Napoli y’all. Would have loved to start giving my business to Romano again but nope.

This is crazy. I used to love this pizza. But today I ordered a large pie and after a hour I called to get the status first they put me on hold after being delivered n hold for 2 mins they said driver will be there in five minutes. So I get off the phone after 20 minutes later. I call back and say hey I would like to cancel the order. Then the guy put me on hold then comes back and says he just talked to the driver. He’ll be there in 2 to 3 minutes so I say OK and get off the phone then after 15 minutes I call back and say oh I would like to cancel the order the driver isn’t here. This time it’s a young lady on the phone and she says I can’t cancel the order because you placed it online through the website. There’s no managers there. Also the driver is already left. She tried to get my name and my number. Saying next time you call we’ll make sure you have good service then finally the delivery guy delivers my pizza. OMG!!! This pizza is cold now only way I can eat. It is to put it in the oven, and heat it up. It’s not room temperature. It’s just cold. Right now….its really cold outside and the pizza felt like it was on top of the car for 20 mins outside (not saying that’s what happened). It was almost 2 hours from the moment it placed the order till the time it came.

I got mushroom + pepperoni toppings a d there was maybe 3 pepperonis and 2 mushrooms got charged hefty for it.
almost no sauce and cheese tastes low quality

I’ve been coming here for almost 8 years and it’s never let me down. Get the grandma’s pizza, it takes 30 minutes for a whole pie but it’s absolutely worth it. I went to Italy and tried pizza in Naples and call me biased or whatever but this pizza was better. I said what I said ?

I ordered last night a pasta fagioli soup which is supposed to be a soup with pasta and beans. I received instead a veggie soup in a broth. There was no pasta at all and completely different from what i ordered. So i called them and instead of apologizing for a mistake, they said it's how they make the soup. So they apparently make a pasta soup without pasta.... So i paid 7$ for a soup that I didn't even eat.

I ordered a cheese pie (on a whole wheat crust), a Greek roll, and a Romano’s salad. The roll and pizza were great. The pizza was burnt, we tried it but we didn’t finish it. Definitely getting regular a regular crust moving fwd

Absolutely delicious! I am from Pennsylvania and my fiance and I are in town for the weekend in effort to see a broadway play. We desired some tasty pizza so upon reading the reviews we ordered pizza from Romano's and it was AWESOME!! The dough was super fresh and the toppings were very generous! I also had the pleasure to speak to Maria and the manger and they both provided excellent customer service! I will definitely patronize Romano's anytime I am in town! So if you are looking for quality and delicious food for great prices, look no further Romano's is your best choice!
