The food is good, however, the hostess should be mindful not to gossip with other customers about how people dress their children, because sometimes those people you're talking poorly about are still in the building and can hear you just fine. If you have children, and want to eat and not be judged by someone who has no idea of your circumstances, I would recommend a different restaurant. We will not be returning.

Great food, fantastic service. I drove by and saw the sign for pot pie. My mom always gave me pot pie as comfort food and it was cold and miserable out. So I turned around and went to the parking lot. The parking lot is not prepared for how popular the diner is. Be prepared to either drive in circles or park on the street. I parked on the street. The pot pie was worth it. They asked me if I wanted dill. I said yes. It was interesting and a little overwhelming. Next time I will try it without

My family and I went for breakfast, hands down best spot in the area. The atmosphere is very comfortable and homey. The staff was warm and welcoming.The food was absolutely delicious. I got the western omelet with a side of sausage. The three of us ate and were stuffed for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning for breakfast, and cant wait to try them for dinner. 10 out of 10.

Went here because it had a 4.6 rating. I didn't find it too spectacular. It was OK but definitely not 4.6 stars. Took too long for breakfast to come out and server didn't seem to enthused to be waiting on us. I understand people may have bad days so this may have been case. But overall I would give a midgrade out me 5 stars.

Avenue Diner has that classic cozy vibe the kind of place where you just feel comfortable right away the smell of coffee and pancakes hits you as soon as you walk in I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and it was so good juicy burger perfectly toasted bun fries nice and crispy the service was super friendly too like they actually care and remember regulars the place isn’t fancy but that’s what makes it great feels real and welcoming I could totally see myself coming back for breakfast next time maybe to try their waffles everyone was talking about

I love chicken pot pies but I was super disappointed in theirs tonight. The pot pie was super bland. At 15 bucks a pop and a load of signs promoting their pot pies you would think it was super flavorful. I’ve had breakfast there with no complaints but this definitely didn’t hit. Maybe I’ll try again next time.
