Had dinner this evening with family .We had excellent service by our waitress Nicole . Everyone loved there meals .Nicole was very attentive to our needs and helped us pick a nice wine to go with our meals .When we return we will be asking for Nicole to be our server .

Ate here often and food was delicious, but last couple of times, not so much. Was there 3 days ago with 2 other people and we all agreed the food looked good but was very bland. Had chicken dishes and apparently was not seasoned at all.

Had scallops and shrimp with pasta in a vodka sauce. Scallops over cooked, lacked seasoning, and not much sauce (dry and pasty). Disappointing.

I was disappointed with some. Part of the meal, crab cake was good and the other part, Risotto wasn’t that good. I expected a better meal. The drink that I had was very good and strong. It was a pumpkin martini. The dessert was good too.

Well....we finally are giving up on the Berlin location. We had our last meal there tonight. Christina our server was awesome...the food was awful. Surf and turf the surf was dry and tasteless and the turf was suspect on being filet or not... and the Diablo was loaded with uncooked peppers and rubber seafood. Owner came over and was arguing with us about the fish was caught fresh this morning. No way.......after 3 decades of special events happy hours and family dinners we are done. Shame because it was so close to us and we love Giovanni. I guess it's a sign of the time. We are now making the truck to the Lakeside location in deptford
