I wish they were closer to us, Old Bridge could definitely use a really good burger place.“

“Stopped in for a late night dinner with my son the food is always good my order wasn’t completely correct but I did like the basil on my french fries I’ll have to do that again sometimes it’s hard to understand people through these plexi glass walls we now live with, well there wasn’t a garbage can available the employee to take my garbage and I appreciate that the sign on the soda fountain to ask for a new cup for refills was a nice add.“

“Stopped in 90min before closing, around 5pm. First off, everything on the menu sounded really good and my wife were kind of torn... The owner literally immediately engaged us and was like "tell me what you're feelin?" - this gentleman steered us to sandwich paradise ?

We decided to split a large classic Italian sub with a couple changes and ended up with a 12" sub (but I'd bet someone it was more like 14") with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. Added lettuce/tom/oil/vinegar/mayo with salt n pepper and some oregano. The cost was $17.05 ($8.50 all in with tax each if splitting) and this bad boy was plenty for the two of us!

They *only* use Boars Head meats/cheeses and let me tell you, it absolutely SHOWED!! High quality ingredients result in a high quality product and this was no exception! It was the absolute best f***ing sandwich either of us have had in a long time! This guy was a true artisan and master of his craft!

Stop in and get an Italian sub and I promise that not only will you not be disappointed but you'll be amazed and enjoy the best sandwich you've had in recent memory!

We plan on going back again real soon to try the Philly cheese steak, get another Italian sub and try the Mac salad which also looked amazing. Will update this review or post another one when we do!

EDIT: Went back the following morning and got a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. ????

EDIT 3: 11/1/2024 - New special on Friday called " Philly Cheesesteak Fridays" - $5 for a cheesesteak and $7.50 for cheesesteak with fries and a soda! Just picked up 2 of them for me and the Mrs.! Guess what? AWESOME AS USUAL AND LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE!“

“This place is amazing! I have celiac disease and have a hard time finding safe places to eat. I had the gluten free chicken tender platter and chocolate chip cookies, which were both unbelievable. The wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive and explained that everything was prepared separately using a dedicated fryer. My gluten consuming family also loved their food. “Great place in Newark for "pastel de feira". Esfihas are not so great but the kibes are delicious. Their croissants are the best though. The sweet ones are the Portuguese croissants and they are a big bigger than the salt croissants. Not that they are salty, but they are neutral and definitely not sweet. The regular croissant is the American croissant and they are smaller in size. Absolutely delicious! Fluffy, buttery, perfect texture that melts it when you eat them. Was a tad pricey...two people two burgers two fries one fountain drink one medium hot chocolate. 30.00 but honestly...it didn't matter...if you got this at a restaurant you would not blink at that price. Again. Delicious. Only reason it's NOT five stars is because of price/location expectation. At the end of the day, as good as it is...it's a supermarket.
