Purchased several sweet and savory pastries! Generous amount of filling and very much enjoyed that the pastries were not too sweet. Will definitely visit again!

I had ordered a 50th anniversary cake for my parents anniversary party and Chef Michel exceeded my expectations. Not only was the cake absolutely delicious, but it was beautiful! I had ordered the dark chocolate cake with peanut butter ribbon filing and buttercream icing. It wasn’t too sweet and the cake was extremely moist. I sent him a photo (3rd photo) as my inspiration and he nailed it. Florals were provided by Karin with Blooms. Thank you!

The pastries are delicious but not always open when stated. Was in on a Sunday, asked if they would be open Thursday, said yes but when I got there they were closed. Not happy. Was counting on something special for Thursday afternoon. Pat Brady 11/30/23

CALL FIRST, I Double checked the hours & arrived at 11:00 am. Monday. CLOSED? Hours on front of building said open Monday til 2 pm. On line hours said open Monday til 2pm. A Small sign tucked in Window, Closed???? I wasted time & gas with disappointment.

It was just regular bakery experience. Prices were very good, but cake was not out of ordinary. It was decent, but have I had better cakes? Definitely yes. Also, if you need to order a cake, you have to a week in advance!

Such a gem in west Cape May! We tried a bunch of stuff and enjoyed most of it. I'm not a big quiche fan but we tried three different quiches and they were all fantastic! Also loved the cream puff! The almond croissant and sticky bun were good but not over the top amazing. Nice staff and a good selection!

Chez Michel is an amazing little bakery with many fresh offerings. I was most excited for the ham and cheese croissant but ended up with coming out with so much more! Always a solid choice if you're looking for fresh baked goods.

Delicious croissants, raspberry lingerie cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate cake. We got there around 11 so there were a lot of items out so get there early. The croissant was huge and flaky, the chocolate chop cookies were delicate and buttery, the chocolate cake moist and perfectly textured (not heavy but not airy wither). We tried to stop again but they are closed on tues and we'd. We will be back on thurs. There is a nice coffee shop next door as well owned by someone else.

The butter bun & sticky bun are pure delight. Better than I’ve ever imagined a pastry tasting.

Two weeks in advance, I ordered 8 special cupcakes for a little boy’s birthday party. I told them to make them look special. Well, I would have found more festive cupcakes at Acme, seriously! The cupcakes were tiny and dry and the icing tasted like Crisco. A store bought boxed-mix would have been better. Save your money, especially on cake products. Maybe their pastries are better. I hope so.Disappointed Grandmom ☹️

Growing up, homemade eclairs were a special treat for my family-- something for the holidays only.Chez Michel's eclairs were nostalgic for me. I'm not sure I can say they met the standard of Grandma's eclairs-- I think that's a hard standard to meet, and I can't say I even remember exactly how good they were some 20 years ago-- but they made me think back to those times fondly. All that to say-- they were some pretty darn good eclairs, and I'm very happy I visited Chez Michel. Will be back next year =]
