Very disappointed. Was excited to eat here based on reviews. But not a good experience. Food was underwhelming, good but not worth the money they charge. We ordered a salted carmel strawberry dessert, not a strawberry in site. The final straw was when the waiter appeared about 30 seconds after dessert was served and toss the bill on the table nearly knocking over the water glass.

One of my favorite restaurants in Cape May. The venue is amazing, eating in an old house really makes this restaurant unique. Also they have some of the best Chicken Parm I’ve had. And I LOVE it is BYOB.

Went to Sapore for the first time and was extremely disapointed. Ordered the Veal Osso Bucco with mushroom risotto. The veal was good but the risotto was a bowl of rice drowned in heavy cream...it was awful..i told the waiter who was very nice he got the manager(young female hostess) and all she had to say was that is how we make it, sorry you didn't like it....about 8 times...then said maybe next time you will have something you like.....SERIOUSLY!!!!! The entree was $45 i did not expect her to take the full amount off the bill, I did finish the veal but she should have done something.....

I recently dined at Sapore of Cape May, and once again, it was another terrific meal! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The ambiance was lovely, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience.For our main courses, I opted for the Veal Parmigiano while my husband chose the Salmon. Both dishes were simply fantastic!When it came time for dessert, we indulged in the Tiramisu, and it was nothing short of amazing! It was the perfect sweet ending to an already outstanding meal.I must give a special shoutout to Linda, with her friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. Thank you, Linda, for ensuring that we had another great meal. We can't wait to return for another culinary delight!

The food was good but unfortunately our server was not attentive. I understand it was busy but they barely came back to our table. After they served our dinner, they never came back to our table to check on us. Even after we finished eating, the busser helped us pack up our food and cleared the table and the server had not come back.
Everything about our experience was excellent. Everyone in our party kept saying how good the food was. We were served quickly. Our orders all came out hot and had large portions. Our server did a good job and the room we were in had a very nice ambience. We will definitely go back again.

Service was slow. Tables are too close to each other. The food tasted okay but it had no pizazz. No presentation. We are locals and have been going to Sapores' for years except in Summer when it is too crazy busy. They no longer give you a complimentary antipasto, which was disappointing. The menu is smaller. The bread....might as well serve Wonderbread. It will be awhile before we go back.

The food was amazing. After reading Bobby's review, I asked our waitress had garlic bread because it wasn't on the menu. They said yes. It was grilled to perfection and had amazing roasted garlic chucks on top. It was so good. As was their calamari, and all of our meals. The food was flavorful and definitely one of the best restaurants in Cape May and I have eaten at many restaurants in Cape May. Sapore's tiramisu is also incredible.
