I haven't been to Highlawn Pavillion in quite some time. I see they now have an open kitchen with a pizza oven. It took away from the elegance that I remembered. Two of us ordered the lamb chops which were mostly fat and very little meat. My friend ordered the roasted chicken which included a wing and a thigh no breast! We had a wonderful July 4th on the patio!! The service was outstanding the servers were so pleasant!!! We decided to order 6 appetizers for 3 people and it was delicious and filling!!! The cocktails were also delicious!!! The only negative is that when I made the reservation I indicated it was my wife's birthday so when our desserts arrived there was no acknowledgment so that was disappointing since that's why we went to to The Highlawn!!

The ambience and location was beautiful. We went on Fathers Day and it was cloudy and raining so not much of a view of the skyline but from what we could see it was amazing.
