My fiancé and I play this alphabet game where we go A-Z and eat at a different restaurant beginning with each letter that we have never eaten at before. Needless to say, this was our “W.” We drove 45 minutes from North Brunswick and it was so worth it, we were truly satisfied. For appetizer we got; scallops butter yaki, chicken katsu, scallion pancakes, clear soup, miso soup, seaweed salad, and mango prawn salad. We ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls; blue crab fantastic, tropical, jersey, and rainbow dragon. For dessert we got bubble tea which was on the house 😊 we will definitely be back to eat here again! The only negative thing I have to say is that the place was very small inside and not many seats available for dine in as most of their business appears to be take out, but the food and service were so good that it cancels that out. Can’t wait to eat here again!

Would give negative stars if I could. I placed an order for $78 with them. I live a few blocks away and they charge you a delivery fee. I paid with a card and she told me if I didn’t add a tip on the card, I had to give a tip in cash to the driver. I told her tipping is optional and she can’t force me to tip (even though I usually do). I was told if I did not tip her delivery driver (regardless of the amount I’m spending and paying a delivery fee) they will not deliver the food, I had to go pick it up. THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I’VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!

Ordered through DoorDash and man what a disappointment. The salmon still had the bottom portion of the skin on it on the rolls. Looked and tasted so weird. The seaweed in the miso soup also looked stale. The rolls came fallen apart as if they don’t even know how to roll them. The spicy-mayo sauce was sweet for whatever reason. Skip this place. Trust me.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I was checking them out before I ordered and saw that they had great reviews so I gave it a try. I am unable to drive so I ordered through Uber eats. I ALWAYS eat my sushi WITH spicy mayo. I paid extra for the spicy mayo and didn’t even get it !!!it wasn’t in the bag!! Then on top of that I called and proceeded to claim they put it in. I told them they might as well FaceTime me ….. the fact that they thought I was lieing to them blows me. Their excuse was that they were too busy. So if your looking to spend money here don’t because you may not get what you paid for because they are too busy. Don’t go here.

I’ve been going to Wasabi for probably 5-6 years now and the quality is always consistent. They recently added poke bowl to the menu, which I normally get from another place. The portion was okay, everything was fresh but the amount of each protein you get is small, overall I think I’ll stick to getting rolls. But I do appreciate them branching out and adding onto their menu, it’s forward thinking.
