Food is expensive and not authentic, we ordered Dandan noodles which is with sesame sauce, and no meat at all. 水煮鱼片is fried fish fillet with very few bean sprout. Do not recommend this restaurant if you want some authentic Chinese food.

The price is really high here and the taste is not good. So will not go again.
Lightning protection, it’s expensive and I don’t dare to eat it. The first time I ate boiled fish, the fish fillets were fried...

First of all, DO NOT order through the online service (Chowbus). We did and paid for it online. When my husband got there, the restaurant informed him that they have not done business with Chowbus for three months. My husband had to reorder the food and pay again! Why does their website allow for online ordering through this (bogus) company! They should be responsible for their website! Meanwhile, the food was mediocre at best. Chicken and Broccoli. This is not the Hot Wok I remember!

Used to be a regular visitor for about 5 years, and now visited after 15 year break!! Food is still good and very polite service. But prices have gone much more than other Chinese places!! Would only consider again if in the area, given there are many others close to my place.

The food is a bit expensive now, but tastes great and is always consistent and tasty every time I get it! Highly recommend!

The Taiwanese food here is very authentic. Having just visited Taipei, the food brings me right back to Taipei.

My favorite Taiwanese food restaurant! I have known the owner since I'm resided in Hamilton NJ from 2005! Whenever I wanted a good Chinese stir fried, I always thought of Hot Wok! The favorite, Dried beancurb with shredded pork and Soft Shell Crab, ? have never been disappointed at all after all these years!

Very authentic chinese taiwanese food - the minced pork noodles is not too oily and great tasting. The prices are on the higher side, 18 bucks for noodles and 20+ for entrees - the serving sizes are generous though.

We have been eating at Hot Wok for over a decade and the food is always exceptional. The staff is friendly and courteous and makes us feel like old friends. I have recommended them to many people.Beware though. We got take-out for the first time and found that none of the dozen Google hits for the restaurant had the current prices. They do not have their own website, so these other sites have information that was "current at the time." We experienced significant sticker shock when picking up our order (which as always, was delicious)

We had a very poor experience here. First, they require you to pay cash otherwise there is a purchase if you use card, but told you only after.Second, the college-aged male waiter was extremely disrespectful. He didn't like the way my brother disciplined his child, didn't understand the context of the situation, and decided lecture and stare down my brother in front of our family. My brother, who is a great father, honorable man, and pillar of the community, understandably felt insulted and told the kid to mind his business. The waiter continued to tell my brother to "show sympathy" while staring him down as he was leaving. My brother stood his ground and told the kid to mind his business again, and this repeated several times while the waiter continued to stare down my brother. The level of disrespect by the waiter and owner is stunning. They apparently thinks it is OK to kids to stare down men after after giving them "parental advice".It looks like they got my brother's review deleted, so now we will have to spread the word in the community that this business doesn't respect people, that they employ immature boys who disrespect their elders. Very unfortunate.
