Good local place for Japanese food. Friendly service. We enjoy the bento boxes and sashimi and sushi combos.

Came here for sushi, and was pleasantly surprised. The toro was very generous and well priced, and the fish in general were fresh and delicious. They gave salmon belly for salmon sashimi - will definitely be back!

Did takeout. No rating for restaurant. It is a small restaurant, maybe 50 seats.Food. Ordered tempura. The tempura was heavily coated with batter which was undercooked. Not appetizing. The sushi roll was unexceptional.Service. Takeout ordered and promised by 6:19 pm. The order wasn't ready when I arrived. Had to wait 10-15 minutes for the order. Unacceptable because the restaurant was not busy.I was disappointed with this experience. I don't plan to return.

If you are picking up, make sure you check how they have packed the food. Each time I have ordered (>3), the plastic soup container is kept on its side, the little soy sauce lids are not flush so that leaks and the bento box is kept vertical so the brown bag they pack it in is soaked.Also- make sure to ask for utensils if you need it. Not a given. When I called to tell them the response was “it was how you carried the bag”. Nice.

Mizu is 100% our go-to sushi takeout in west windsor. Not only is it the freshest, tastiest, most diverse accommodating and reliable sushi I've ever been so lucky as to have around the corner BUT I'd put my money on Mizu against sushi bars in NYC and Philly. We value Lin and Ken and the great food they supply for our special occasions.

Delicious sushi. Generous portions of lunch bento box. Comes with salad, miso soup, shrimp shumai, 6 pieces of California roll along with main entree. Beef negemaki and teriyaki salmon were very tasty. The beef, however, was somewhat overcooked. Ninja roll and Rock and roll were delicious.
Food was amazing especially mizu roll. Servers were understanding and nice. Loved it!

A reliable, albeit humble, West Windsor local Japanese-only sushi spot (no Thai, Chinese, fusion) with consistently fresh fish and good service. Excellent value; for Princetonians, worth crossing US1 :)

Best sushi in Princeton area. Rolls, sushi, and appetizers all high quality and consistent.

Smaller restaurant that apparently caters to the residents of the numerous developments along Clarksville Rd. It seems Mizu is a family operation.Extensive menu. Please bear in mind that Mizu is a strictly Japanese cuisine restaurant. You are not going to find there any boneless ribs, General Tso chicken, Lo Mein, etc. Mizu doesn't include in their menu any of the Chinese or Thai specialties that many area's sushi restaurants do.Good food featuring fresh ingredients. Very neatly made rolls. We really liked our Futo Maki roll.

Sushi was decent similar to other options in the area. Nothing outstanding. Prices seemed reasonable. The rice did not stick together and fell apart on some of the sushi which I have rarely seen. The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired it seemed a little cafeteria like. It’s seems like it would be a pretty decent option for take out but there are far better dine in options in the area.
