South indian meals very bad not worth for money

I am at the restaurant at 11:14 am on friday, and it shows timings as opens at 11 am but when I went to the restaurant, the doors are still closed, and there are people inside. A person from inside came and told me that they open at 11:30, so annoying. This made my morning start with a bad vibe. I am so hungry and visited the restaurant and unfortunately they have their timings.

Atleast as a customer I expect to change the timings on website and big boards on the door. I travelled all the way from hightstown to have breakfast and very disappointed.

I gave the above review earlier, and after multiple visits I am also editing my review because my opinion changed. The food was great. I don’t know whether my experience earlier was bad only for that or my day was bad. But later on I was satisfied with service and food.

After all the above experience, I visited here multiple times for lunch, and I must say it has the best vegetarian food around this area. I tried multiple thalis and also ghee roast rava dosa stole my heart.

Food pretty good but not as good as the Edison location. They charged me for an item but I never received it.

Though the food quality is same in last shoo many years we have been there, but the quantity of food is reduced, and prices have rose significantly. We are better off going to fine-dine restaurants instead of this one...

This South Indian restaurant just simply lives up to its name by serving an awesomely delicious menu. It's a simple menu, but the portions are huge and leave you wanting more. Service is wonderful. Excellent experience

We tried Sadya at Sarvana Bhavan and loved it.

Finding a table is easy around 12 PM. There's ample parking.

The place maintains hygiene standards. Tables and cutlery - spotless.

Orders are served super quick.

Tastes as good as their restaurants in India.

Menu is rich and great for regular visits.

What deserves a special mention?
Sadya served was great - very close to what we have in India.

What could be better?
Nothing, they are doing a great job. Just keep the place as clean as you have today. Maybe start providing a clean handwash option, visiting washroom before eating is not everyone's favorite.

We had been here a few years back. Wasn't a fan but decided to give it another try and still not a fan. In which universe does a small bowl of Rasam cost $9. The dosas were oily and the vegetable Biryani was a joke honestly. The filter madras coffee was another disappointment. The AC setup wasn't also optimal. The Dosa grill which is about a mile away is a much better choice

The BEST Saravana Bhavan on the east coast! You get the best tiffin here, through the day. Highly recommend dining in vs ordering via Uber Eats, the service is so good!

Misogynistic as hell. I just left here. I went to pick up an order and the guy went to hand it to me out of reflex and then stopped. He didn't even want to touch my hand. I'm totally disgusted and will never eat where I'm treated like a dog.
