Decent Chinese food option. There are certainly better options out there in the world but for the area, Shanghai Bun is good enough. I do wish that the food was less salty.
Take note that the interior is worn and tired and the service is curt.

I have eaten here many times, and intend to continue doing so. While we occasionally have an issue of a dish going missing, we also have a tendency to order more than we need anyway, so we go over the check and have things adjusted and all is fine. Otherwise, the portions are plentiful to share around a table, taste fresh and like they are made in house, and come out quickly. I have come here for everything from a date, to simply sharing a meal with family, and they all get the job done wonderfully.
I will always recommend getting a soup to share, an order of custard buns, and some soup dumplings. Otherwise, explore the menu and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I had high expectations when I came here. I ordered take out of about 5 orders and the buns weren't any good. The man at the front was very rude. Highly disappointed. Will not be returning. There are better dumpling places.

I joined 14 friends for a large group lunch. There's a room in that back that can hold about 20 guests. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The server made some nice suggestions from the menu.

I celebrated my birthday there, and it was an amazing experience. They accommodated is with a big table that was perfect for a group. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, they helped us light up the candle and even joined in to sing the birthday song. I highly recommend this place for special occasion!

Had a simple regular Sunday lunch just the 3 of us around 11:30, we were the first to arrive.
Food is decent, nothing special.
Paying the bill, I gave about 12% tip.
About 2 mins later, the waiter came back and forced us: “The tip here is minimum 18%.” Left the signed bill and walked away.
I was flabbergasted; I’m all about giving a proper tip, but I totally dislike being forced like that. My wife calmed me down, not wanting me to make a scene.
So we re-signed the bill, walked out and we will NEVER come back.
So they ‘forced’ me to pay additional $3.50 for tip but lost me as a customer for life?
Great business model!
