Love this place! I have been going there for years! It is BYOB so keep that in mind. Great menu and great prices! Service is excellent!

Best soup dumplings ever. Consistently good food, fresh, hot and tasty. Service is good but not the most friendly. But all in all an excellent experience.

If your tired of fast chinese food, try this place out! Dumplings made fresh while you wait. Great portions, and heat up well next day for lunch.

Agreeing with the most recent reviews that mention questionable hygienic practice, very noticeable dusty and cobwebs-layered dining area, and inconsistent quality of food. We were there this week and it may have been our last visit/ order from here.
The drinking glasses still had lip prints from previous uses, the table had streaks of something, and there was at least one dish that the sauce was not mixed well. There were entire globs of paste in the dish that were unpleasant surprises to bite into. We also ordered fried chicken which tasted like shrimp on the outside — that taste of everything the fryer oil has been used for.
I am so relieved that none of us got sick and I can write this review. This used to be our go-to place for Chinese and it’s a pity they have let themselves go. I can’t feed this to my family again in good conscience.

I go several times and while I'm near the area, to this small restaurant, I've been visiting it for about 3 years, I guess at first, it was better in terms of decoration and maintenance, I must say that the food, its flavors, the amount per plate served and the price are very well accepted, I just want to comment on the environment, which is boring, there is no pleasant musical environment and you are always listening unintentionally, the conversations of the other tables, the tables underneath are rusty and dirty, cracked chairs and various oriental ornaments and tables full of dust and neglected, I think they need to at least close a few weeks and dedicate time to cleaning and decoration, another thing that is very unpleasant is to see the waitresses preparing food at a table and just as they are working, they serve the tables, it doesn't look hygienic at all, some waitresses look very poorly dressed and dirty their hair are disgusting, I don't know who the owners are, but they should clean and improve the restaurant area, I myself saw on one occasion, the waitress spilled tea from the kettle on the table to clean the table when some customers left the restaurant, hopefully one day they will remodel it and change all those tables and chairs and clean all the areas, who need it ...

Ordered Christmas Day dinner (family tradition) for delivery. We are long time Shanghai Bun customers. Driver arrives 45 minutes after ordering and informs us that food is not ready. Calls to restaurant are answered initially and then hung up followed by no answer on callback. Driver waits nearly an hour (this is 90 minutes post ordering) before we tell him to stop waiting. We actually ordered from another Chinese restaurant in town and got our food within 30 minutes. Kicker is, the Shaghai order arrives anyway but 2.5 hours after we originally ordered. No communication from the restaurant. Ridiculous.

They don't respect delivery drivers.
I had to wait for over an hour for someones food and didn't care to show any empathy of the delay. I had to cancel on my end. Their operation is to serve people in house vs delivery in which delivery customers are 3X more than the in house customer. Lack of a customer service.

The food had zero flavor. No salt, no spice just completely bland. It didn’t taste good at all and felt like it was made without any effort.

This place is not far from my apartment. My parents and I went here for some authentic Chinese. The food was good from the soup dumplings, to the steamed vegetables. The service staff was friendly. The place is nice. The prices are affordable. I would definitely come back next time.

A little run down. Cheap furniture. Needs a makeove4, but overall good food and service. Moderately priced. Not that expensive. I had the shrimp dumplings. It's is a weird location. You'd pasa it. Hidden a bit

Get the spicy chicken wontons with peanut sauce. Divine.
If I could give the food negative stars I would, other than the dumplings I ordered sesame chicken, it was fat balls of mystery chicken that were undercooked and coated in sugar water, never go here for anything other than dumplings, service and atmosphere was great though, might need to hire a new chef.

Its a good restaurant to visit. The food is good but not worthy of 5 stars. Also the service is a hit or miss. I didn't appreciate they started moving while we were still having our dinner just because they wanted to be efficient and go home.
