This place is absolutely delicious. It hits everything you could possibly want in Indian food. Fresh, full of flavor, balanced heat, refreshing accompaniments, perfectly made drinks (mango lassi in my case). We have been looking for good Indian food for awhile and this surpassed any expectations of a "good" place and is now a favorite. The naan was hands down the best naan I have ever had. Expertly flakey, lightly chewy, cooked perfectly - amazing. We ordered a veg dinner, chicken, and seafood along with some appetizers and everything was delicious. The complimentary papadum? if I am getting that correct was also so good we asked for seconds. I cannot wait to come back. I have to say the attention to detail with the food was really appreciated, for instance the samosas: the dough was PERFECT, not too chewy, not too greasey, perfect. Clearly, I was very impressed!

Food is alright. They had some issues with payment called us once we paid and left the place and asked about paying the bill. Place is clean and pleasent.
I don't even remember the name of what we ordered, but it was incredible. It was a lamb in some kind of yellow cashew and almond sauce and it was rich and flavorful and delicious. They brought out rice that they were happy to refill as needed and our appetizers were good as well. All in all it was a great experience and we would definitely go back. The prices are a little bit high, but we just shared an entree and an appetizer and it made it very reasonable and we had plenty of food in my opinion, but we weren't that hungry because we had a late lunch so it might be case by case. The employees were all very friendly and the service was quick and it was clean inside.

This is the hands down best Indian restaurant in the area. I've tried all the restaurants in Ridgewood and surrounding areas and I still come back to Westwood which is a little out of the way for me. The food is always excellent and the service is great. Now if they get larger wine glasses then my world would be perfect :)

Hmmmmmm. Food was good as usual , but we were seated in the canteen like side room which was like an army barracks with zero atmosphere and tbh we were like an inconvenient afterthought . Five different servers, non of which really seem bothered, I brought my friends from another town over to experience what I said was the best in Bergen. clearly I was wrong , really disappointing … you can’t keep that side room open if you expect to charge those prices and keep any kind of decent reputation downtown dhaba ….

Love this place. I've been here twice now and it is some of the best Indian food I've eaten.
The service is friendly and attentive, the flavors are fantastic, and the menu is large without being overwhelming.
I appreciate that the spice level is kept high and relatively authentic instead of catering too much to local pallets.
Even though this is more than an hour ride from home I will be back again.
