I live in Emerson just a town away from Flynn’s. Once upon a time we had a deli called Shortrounds. Blew my top off. Long story short Shortrounds stopped their brick and mortar business and I was afraid I wouldn’t find a good deli again. Flynn’s is the best I’ve had in New Jersey. Used to come here all the time and the deli was moving. Lots of selections awesome staff. Place is looking broken down. Walked in and just a dead atmosphere and dated. This place another victim of covid lockdowns? Food served was just ok. Sandwich was loaded with vinegar and cheese stacked one sided. If you are miserable while preparing food it's going to be miserable tasting. Sad
We had a great breakfast and my friend ordered a wrap which was very good. Prices were fair and service good. Our only problem was we could not eat in because they had the counter closed and no tables. .
